can i apply for citizenship of my son??

I got PR card 2 weeks ago. can i apply for citizenship for my son he is 2.5 yrs old?

i read somewhere on CIC website that one can apply for citizenship for minors less than 18 yrs old without completing the 3 yrs out of 4

If i can apply then what is the procedure for that.

No you cannot apply for citizenship for your son.Infact children under 18 yrs of age are not required to complete the residency/citizenship requirements ONLY when any of their parent has fulfilled the requirements and/or attained citizenship ,then they can be either included in the citizenship application at the time of applying or an independent application can be filed afterwards .
