I'm currently in the UK and will be graduating with a childcare degree in June,

I've made a profile on a Canadian Nanny website to advertise that I'd like to be a nanny in Canada, I have put my current situation, where I am, that I will graduate in June, need sponsorship, etc

Is it okay that I've done this?? Is this the correct way to find a job in Canada then apply for a work permit?

Others can comment as well but personally do not see any issue with anybody advertising themselves from outside of the country although how successful you might be to generate any interest at all what with being a fresh graduate with assume no work experience might be a different matter.

Hi,

I agree. I do not see anything wrong with advertising your services as well as networking. However, I do advise to be very cautious of any offers you may receive as there are reported cases in where individuals are exploited. A legitimate employer will never ask you for funds for a job offer. So I caution you to do your research.
Also, connect with non for profit organizations that help individuals looking to come to Canada. They usually help with resume and interview skills.

Best of luck!
