Can fall-2013 Study visa b changed to Jan-2014 visa easily?

As i applied for Fall intake but i havent got my Visa yet,its a month since i applied so i guess i might get it in next 10-20 days.Ill rather not go to Canada then....If i get the visa for fall-2013 can i get it changed into Jan-2014 visa...as i dont want to miss any classes.If so what is the procedure.

I applied for Electronics System engineer Masters,My offer is valid for Sept 2013,Jan 2014 and May 2014.

By the info you provided I can easily guess that the University must be Regina. You dont have to apply for any extension. Just you have to check the Validity of the permit issued to you. If it is valid you can go and join.

Not at all a issue to worry about.

Thanks abhi....and yes i applied for Regina,i didnt get the visa yet so i dont know what to do.I wonder will i get the visa or not coz course starts on 3rd.I havent got the visa yet and next 2 days it will be off.Should i ask the vfs to change my application for January intake or they will themselves be intelligent enough to do it?

No you don't have to ask anything to anybody. As the offer clearly states that it is valid till May-14. Don't worry you will get soon, if not for sept, then njoy 3-4 months in IND and go in dec with me .

oo....ru goin to Regina as well?.....See i have a doubt....tht i applied for fall-2013....soo evn if i get visa delayed...ill still get it for Fall-2013 tht means Sept 2013 to Sept 2015.Or it depends on what time i land at canada....like i enter in jan then the visa will b granted from jan 2014 to jan 2016.Do i need to ask vfs to make any change or not....m confused

I wont step back....ill just come there in January. I had a talk with Regina Dead...they said it would be recommended that no classes should be missed.So amen to that.Se you in January if i get the visa
