Can apply from London for Canadian visa?

Hi dear friends, m on student visa here in the UK and now m about to finish my studies soon INSHALLAH n want to study further in Canada, can I apply from London, just want to point it out that my nationality is Pakistani, and have seen my rejection cases of students who applied from London, the common rejection issue is " you will never return or leave CA after studying.

Or it's better to go back to Pakistan and apply from their?

I think it's best if you apply from your home country - just to be safe. I have heard it's difficult to get acceptance if you apply from a country other than your home country.

Keeping the current situation in mind of students in the UK with respect to visa and post graduate work etc. It is advisable not to apply from there until and unless you are going to a good university and doing a course which is in line with your previous studies. And you can prove good home ties with Pakistan and funding.

Actually i am interested to do a Masters in Finance and Accounting from Ontario, Canada...which is very much in line with my ACCA (Associated Certified Chartered Accountant) and BSc in Applied Accounting, but the problem is that i couldn't find any college or university which offer such program in Canada...moreover MBA seems to be a 2nd best option for me as i want to expand my field in Business area as well and its not diverse to what i am currently studying.

if u are still in london, i will advise you to give it a shot. the process is very simple; even if rejected you have an option to come back anytime and reapply.

here the CHC, ISB is taking 5-6 months for any response; so be aware!!! :-X

but my friend got a visa from pakistan within a month for LSBF in toronto, my friend i have not seen any acceptance case from here thts y i am bit hesitating to apply from london.

I am not an expert but I studied in London too you have an option to apply from London I didn't had that .
The main problem in coming back and applying from pakistan will be they can reject you saying you won't come back one of common rejection quotes you are not well established in your home country , give a shot from uk bcos if something goes wrong then Atleast you still have uk as option coming back to Pak will take away that from you

Hi Sameer AOA, thanks for ur time and advice, actually i am not closing UK until i start studying in Canada b/c i am going to extend my UK visa than i am planning to visit Pakistan during vacations to apply for Canada from their....and the rejection from here(UK) is the same i've seen i.e. "u won't come back".
And 2nd reason i am hesitating to apply from here is that its too risky and try is some sensible but if i get rejected then it will make my case a bit hardr for 2nd tym too.....i don't know that am correct or not but i think that's the fact!! What you say?

Personally if I was a VO I would think that you are well establish student in uk wanting to study further In Canada , moreover uk is better bcos if you go Pak and then it will take more then 2 months I don't think it's a good idea to stay away from uk for more then a month on holiday they might question you y we're you away for so long . Think twice personally uk is better

@sameer: ok i'll consider your point but now as my friend told me that CHC dont keep passport so i can easily come back to UK after applying and then they just ask for passport and biometrics when they decide to issue visa only.

Strange , nobody of college applicant got approval from CHC islamabad since January 2012 , then how ur friend did . I think ur friend is just a lier don't follow her .
