Can an International student and a tourist get married in Canada?

I'm an Indian girl and I've got student visa for september 2017 intake. My fiance lives at San Francisco. We are already planning to apply for express entry but somehow he couldn't come to India so our wedding got delayed. He is having a valid work permit in US. We're planning of getting married in Canada next month if he comes on tourist visa there. Kindly let me know if there are any concerns.

You can get married in Canada. Contact a wedding lawyer in Canada, have your passports with you, fill an application, set a date. On the date, you, your husband, your friends ( who will be signing as two witnenesses) and the lawyer meet at a decided location.
