Can a 60 year old apply under FSW

Hi everyone,
i am shibu and I am unfortunately 61 year old. I have recently got my credentials assessed. My occupation is under CIC's list of occupation and I get a total of 67 points. Can anyone tell me they know or ever heard of anyone like me who applied for Canada FSW Immigration and got it.

If u r meeting the criteria and have 67 points then you should be good

Hi Shibu, greetings.

Of course you can apply, but you won't be able to claim points against age factor as shown in the link below:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/factor-age.asp

Make sure you get the 67 points irrespective of age.

Without the age my point is 67. here is breakdown:
Education: 23
Language: 24
Experience: 15
Daughter in Canada: 5

Yes you are good to apply if you are sure u will get 67 points. My father who was 50+ got his PR. So u better try.

Canada's immigration programs heavily favour the young and you will lose significant points due to your age. It's unlikely you will be successful unless you have a few million dollars to invest in a business in Canada and can go through one of the investment streams.
