calculation of experince

hello friends
I have a question regarding the calculation of experience as my friend he was working as a painter noc code 7294 for 11 months and after that he start working as a supervisor in trucking noc code 7305 and he also completed 3 months as a supervisor. Is his experience would be counted as a combination of both or he has to do something to gain an experience in the same field ???

As far as I know truckers don't qualify for CEC.

Supervisors of truckers do qualify...
