Hey guys. Sponsoring my 9 month old infant here.. here's my timeline so far.
Application received (Sydney, NS): April 17th, 2020
ECAS in process: October 27th, 2020
AOR: October 27th, 2020
SA: October 28th, 2020
Moved to Cairo VO: October 28th, 2020
Medical request: ???
Pre-arrival:???
PPR: ???
CoPR: ???
I have a concern. The SA approval letter stated that its forwarded to Cairo VO for further processing.. my question is this, is it normal for the file to be transferred before getting a medical request?

Hi there. Hope you receive your COPR soon! Just wondering for PPR, do you have to submit the passport in person? Or is there an option to send it by mail? And same for pick up? Thanks
I had to send the passport to them by courier, they don't accept in-person drop-offs for PPR. I think they will either return it by mail or ask me to pick it up at VAC, still waiting for it to be processed.Hi there. Hope you receive your COPR soon! Hey guys.. Any updates?? Waiting for medical request here for my infant son.. is there a timeframe on when I can expect it? My son's application was forwarded on October 28th to Cairo VO.. Any feedback is appreciated

I'm a PR applicant from Egypt, and my case seems as it has been moved to Cairo office. Couple of days ago, I received an email from Cairo office, and a message on the IRCC website asking me to fill " the attached schedule A ", and send it back to them by email. Actually, there weren't any attachments with their email. I have sent them 2 email yesterday and today to Cairo office asking them to provide me the required schedule, but they didn't answer me yet.
I wonder if any of you had been in a similar situation, and how long does it usually take the Cairo office to respond to an Email? I also wonder why was my case transferred to Cairo, and how fast are processing times here?

did you submit through VFS global ? if so how did you track the processing ?
yes, vfs global. they give you a tracking number by email and send you package progresshi there

I got it. found the tracking number in the receipt.
and the update is: dispatched to IRCC office, not arrived yet
but this update: ECAS Application approved: November 9, 2020
happens in the application page right?
