another question: do we receive the COPR along with the passport after stamping in the same package?
They are working but slow.Hey guys just wondering.. has anyone received any updates from Cairo VO?.. Are they even working?.. Please update us if anyone received anything from them.. Is there anyone here waiting for medical request too? It seems that they r really slow..
I see in your signature that your case moved to Cairo VO less than a month ago. Mine moved to Cairo back in Feb. I am clearly past the insanity phase lolThanks guys for responding.. thought I was going insane here.. best of luck to all of you
Oh wow.. over 8 months is a long time.. I would've gone completely ballistic.. Hopefully u get to hear good news soon.. it's a dreadful process.. I am hoping we don't have to get psychiatric treatment after this LOL..I see in your signature that your case moved to Cairo VO less than a month ago. Mine moved to Cairo back in Feb. Hopefully you won't have to wait that long. The pandemic hit in March right after my file was transferred to Cairo then everything closed. The VO started to work on mine only last month. It's moving but very slow. It's been thirteen months since application received. In tears most of the time. And this lock-down and border closures aren't helping at all. I really hope there was an option where we could submit our feelings to cic.Oh wow.. over 8 months is a long time.. I would've gone completely ballistic.. I am so sorry you're going through this.. I feel your pain and frustration and I completely agree that we shouldn't be treated as "applications" or "cases" and should be treated with more compassion..Hopefully you won't have to wait that long. If they knew what kind of days we go through every single day.. The feeling of instability in your own home about your child or significant other and that you are always only half present minded and the other half is with them in the other side of the world..
You just don't know where to call home anymore, without feeling guilty of calling Canada home when your family is incomplete..
I'm hoping and praying for the day that we can all hear good news and put this all behind us..
Good luck and InshaAllah you will get you PPR soon
Hey.. I am also sponsoring my son.. I applied in April as well.. the sponsor or the principal applicant should call the IRCC helpline from within Canada and ask them for a temporary application number and also ask them if they finished the completeness check.. That's what I did in September and I received the AOR the following month.. they just started processing my son's application on October 27th. And they forwarded it to Cairo VO the next day..my wife mailed my application along with all other paperwork she needed to sponsor me ( her husband) to come to Canada, back in early April. I never received an email with a case processing number or even a confirmation that our application was received or is being processed. I've emailed them and gotten no response back. I've called the ircc multiple times and have not been able to speak to anyone. I don't know what else to do.
How did she mail it out? Does she have a tracking number to see if it's been delivered? Did she ask for a delivery signature?my wife mailed my application along with all other paperwork she needed to sponsor me ( her husband) to come to Canada, back in early April. 90 days. Those who recently received medical exam request letter from Cairo visa office, did they give you 30 days or 90 days to do the exam?
