Hey everyone. Happy new years
I am john from Egypt. it's nice to share all of these stories. I was just wondering when i can see the application process on CIC's website. They received my application on 29th of December. so it's been a week now and everytime i check on the website with the receipt number it says ''We were not able to identify you using the information you provided''.
does it take more time to appear on the website?

Hi John,

Make sure your using the correct combination of numbers dates and names when logging into the account. If it is not finding you one or more of those required feilds might be the issue. It sometimes takes a few tries and playing with the information order.

Just as a heads up will be frustrating to check time and time again finding no changes lol. Happy New Year to you as well.

Does anyone one know when do they request passports after sending required documents, last month they wrote in the email that once they receive my husband's new pr card scanned copy the visas will be ready to be issued
Really I can't wait for the passports request and i'm tired of all the endless vacations ???

App received 4th August
SA 28th. Sep
In proscess 11

I just wander if my husband Can get visitor visa to stay with me till he get the Permanent resident
I know the proscess time in CVO might take 7 months

I got my SA on 28th September , in ecas I got tow lines

SP side (in process)
We received your application for permanent residence on August 4th, 2015.

2. We started processing your application on 2nd September , 2015.

My wife is the one who attended the interview
The interview was based on the wedding and when did i meet her, as we did the engagement and the wedding in one month , everything else was straight forward

Thank you for your help

Do not rely on eCAS as they are very lazy in updating it
After receiving SA from cic here in Canada your application will be transferred to cairo VO then do not expect any updates until your file completely reviewed which is approximately after 7 to 9 months in average after you submit your application to cic which means around 6 to 7 months in Cairo
Good luck
