hi everyone I am a new member. I sent my application on August and start prosses it on 4th September and we received a proof letter at 28th sep then application moved Cairo visa office till now not in prosses yet on 15th October the musical results have been reseved
Till now my application not IN PROSSES yet
Should be worrie

My stuts now is IN Proscess in 11Nov it mean the start proscess my husband's file and for how long they might takes time
By the way me and my husband never receive any email from Cic sines we sent the forms

The current processing time is around 17 months so I would expect something around that. I have heard of much shorter and much longer processing times for some people though. The estimated time starts from when they received the file in Cairo. Don't worry too much about not getting any emails, they often just don't send them

I don't know medo probably not, they asked my husband to pay right of pr fee because we didn't pay all the fees but they also requested a copy of his new pr card as soon as it's issued, he applied for pr renewal in june 1st and they requested a movement certificate from him last month, they said it's going to make a delay for his application so now our application is delayed untill he gets the new one because his current pr card will expire after a week
But I don't know is it a good sign that they requested the fee and the pr copy or is it just routine work?

I think they don't ask for rprf unless the visa is ready for issuance , you will get another email after submitting the requested documents and paying the rprf let say 2 to 5 days as it happened with a friend last week .

Some of you may have seen a thread I started in September under Family Class sponsorship about PhD research I'm doing on the Family Class application process.

I'm looking for people to participate in an anonymous online survey about their experiences of the application process to sponsor family members. My goal is that the results can be used for advocacy to make improvements to the system for people who want to sponsor family members in the future.

I'm still looking for lots more people to respond to the survey - the more people respond the stronger the results will be. In particular I’m looking for people who are not well-represented in the survey responses I already have. Unfortunately I haven't heard from many people yet whose applications are going through VOs in Africa, so that's why I'm posting in this thread (if you participated in an interview last year, thank you again, but unfortunately I need different people for the survey).
