The new UCI is actually given prior to the file being completed. If you ordered your GCMS notes you will find it there.

Today I checked my new UCI number online and I found my all information in it and they changed my current address from Egypt to Canada

GCMS stands for global case management system (I believe that is right). They contain all the information regarding your file. Including anything noted by the VO that reviewed your application.

How can I order it? If I am in Canada and want all the info...It is really confusing.

Thanks

Watch the video in this link. Your spouse will have to sign a consent form, and scan it for you to send as an attachment, and you will need to scan your drivers licence to prove you are in Canada and have the right to order them. and the receipt will also be included, it cost 5 dollars.

I have heard of other people doing that too, it COULD cause a slight delay in processing. But I think by the time they come to your file the medical results should be entered into their system.

The meds were done for us in Oct and by Jan when we logged into ecas they were already on file. I am sure yours will be fine!

Are you a PR or Citizen if you don't mind me asking.

Hi
I am canadian citizen and I have been living here with my husband over one year, but also I have been living in Canada for the last 14 year becouse i have citizenship also of another country. Last time i went to Canada for one month last September to prepare everything on our coming. I have a lot of family living there in Canada and I have graduated from canadian university so I hope for them I will have enough bonds still there and we can convince CIC that I want to come back to live to Canada. Regarding our relation I hope they will believe, we are together since 2010 but I am 10 years older so for them it can be red flag.

I mainly asked just to be sure you would not face any troubles were you a PR and out of Canada for that time. As a PR you would be required to stay in Canada other than short trips/vacations.

Did you include written documentation on your arrangements to return to Canada? Such as living arrangements/work/schooling ect?

Have you had any contact from CIC or the embassy other than the sponsor approval?

With regards to the age difference, it can really go either way. Did you address it in your application? It is a red flag for sure.

Nope, not even a single word from the embassy.

Hi everyone,

I had a quick question ... So Our files have been sent to the Cairo office, approx. how long did it take for them to open up your files and send out the AOR stage 2?

Also, how long before the interview did they notify you that you will be having an interview?

Thanks,

Kuudir2

Nothing! We are losing our minds!!

So close yet so far.....argh!

I believe you said in another post that your husband had to redo his medical. Not too sure if you know but I think it takes a few months for them to update the file. Hope you hear some good news soon!!
