Although I'm applying in a different stream but what u said is totally true
We missed this year train so most probably see in next march I don't think we will hear anything before that
But may be this is Cairo visa office applicant's destiny
So enjoy the stay in Egypt for the next few months to the max
Because seems that Canada will not be in the horizon until next year
And hope for the best

I wanted to share with you, that my husband recently received this email from the visa office,

Dear Sir,

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada.

Please proceed with the submission of the passport and recent photos with a white background via prepaid courier (DHL, TNT, Aramex, Fedex) in order to finalize the file.


I am so happy and finally feel relieved, I am not sure how long it takes to get the visa after passport is sent, but other than that it is a matter of time.
It truelly has been a long long process, I will be very happy once it is all over,

I really hope the same for everyone.

if anyone knows of the size of pictures you should send with the passport, cuz they dont really indicate it, and how long it take to reciew, plz post any of that info, thnk u

Hi Shamsuannahr - you can update the spreadsheet for us (candab) - we received notice from the visa office that the passport is ready with the visa.


Also - I have a question... does anyone have any advice of what we should be doing in regards to translating and notarizing high school certificates and driver's license to be accepted in Canada.... any info would be VERY helpful! thanks,
