Thanks for asking! But nothing much, I finally managed to open our E-case and it says "Application received, medical results received" and that's all!! nothing more! so we are still waiting my medical should be expired by Jan, so if I didn't get any news before Jan 2013 I might need to do it again hopefully note.

Did you know why it took months for them to update ecase?

I feel bad for all of us! I also feel sorry to see a very incompetent government and minister. If CPP-Ottawa was busy before closing US VO, you can only imagine how it is now? On the other hand, if they do not do anything on the files why do not they transfer them to Cairo. Then again what does Cairo VO do? It is all redicilous

hey dont look at others each case is different and you must know that Mississauga is sending files to Cairo visa office and Cairo visa office is decide if keep file in cairo or send it to Ottawa
and you dont know where is your file
all cases here sent first to Cairo Visa Office and then they decide
so dont worry
whats AOR said to you ? that ur file is in Cairo so it is in Cairo
for more sure call the Call center they will tell you where is your file
guys i would like to remind you that the processing time was 12 month for Cairo visa office
and now it became 14 months what is that mean ? this meaning that there many pressure in them or they want that
so for everyone who already applied after march 2012 dont wait any answer now please and dont worry also
because i can tell you guys Cairo visa office can use the legally way to delay our files i dont mean intend to delay i mean to take their own time big time as they can without any pressure from nobody

for Cairo visa office can say to you don't count time on me since you sent you applications noooo count it since you approved for sponsorship
and that is the legally way for them no body can blame them
and please guys dont tell me that the AOR said its 12 months and they count since they received our applications
i know that but with Cairo visa office always doing what they want they dont have any basics nothing its only according to what they see

You should have gotton a decision on first stage long ago if you did not call CIC and check with them

Yes I know... I received a letter saying page 2 of 1344 was missing. I resend it and still waiting...

because that group got sponsorship approval in middle of may and its only 5 month until now and the the processing time was by that time in may 12 month and it became 14 month
and im telling you guys so stop worried bcz its early for you

guys im going crazy in here its been 36 days since they recieved my passport. any freaking idea about whats going on in there ? im worrying . sent an email and they responded 2 days later and told me that my file is with the officer responsible for my case ,and they will let me know when they take a decison on my file . can any one tell me what the hell did this email mean plz .. i have the longest file timing for far ...

i wish i knew. thats whats freaking me out. ... they got all what they asked for. did the re medical. paid the rprf . send my passport. and now what , u know my file has been in VO for 15 MONTHS so far. can you believe this..

is your wife in Cairo now not in Gaza strict she must be here in Egypt in case if she couldnt go on you know this issue
did they say to you that your visa is ready for issue ? so how they say that the officer who is responsible about ur file didnt finsih it yet and did your medical result received to them
it must your file is done and you case is finished they should send passport with visa

i have a question my wife is a canadian if she want to stay in egyot more than 5 months do she need any stamps for that, or the visa she will get at airport thats enough
