When your files went to Ottawa, have you received an email from Ottawa acknowledging the receipt of your file and notifying you with your file number? Thanks a lot.

My app is filed in Feb 10 2012 and haven't heard from CPC-M yet. I am waiting for my file to be transferred to either Ottawa or Cairo so that I can sent some additional proofs of relationship that I obtained after sending the appliocation.
I truly appreciate your answwe.

We received an email from cpp-o, and that was Feb 20 2012(4months after the application was received). Typically it should be shorter tho, but our file was lost at cpc-m and it took them about a month to look for it.

I am getting a bit confused here. Is it that you want to withdraw your application, or it is that you wanna make sure it was not canceled after your husband sent them that he is gonna divorce?

hello everybody...um new user here i have a very urgent question which anyone help me as um egyptian my husband is canadian and he made me the sponsership to immigrate to him and for some reasons we broke up and he divorced me in the same time i took the visa...so do i have chance to go canada or it is considred refused pease any one help me?

hello..please it's so urgent...after my husband apply to me in canada since 7 months...and after we passed wz all steps and it has been done ...csq...medical...proofs..for a reason or another me and my hubby had disappointment and he send emails t ott_pilot..and embassy say to stop processing my file as he will divorce me...and then we returned back b4 divorce...so he send another email in the next day rightaway explain the situation and ask to make my file going as ordinary and apologize..so anyone have any idea what they gonna do?and my case is (IN PROCESS)

...but i want say that i didn't take my vise yet..and um dealing through Ott_pilote they are the office that my file processing into....
when my hubby send this email of cancelation...he sent it to cpc-missassuga...and also send another email apologize and give them admits that he sponsor me and that we solved the issue...

so he didn't send to embassy or to ott-pilot!!....we are now in a hot water really as we afraid to get refused it will be the death it self we are in this long distance since long ago...ohhh....can i send any email or i should to wait??

he didn't divorce me at all...only he told them he wants 2 withdraw the file as we WILL divorce me and the day next he resend another email apologize ..and i don't know wt does TIMELINE mean?

Hi Sonia-

I don't have experience in this (and I hope I won't) but I learnt this from the forum as well as from what is posted on the CIC web site.

I recommend you e-mail EVERY PLACE your app went to. This includes CPC-O and CPC-M. I heard that they also require a signed letter. Therefore, to ensure the cancellation, please submit a signed letter to CPC-O and CPC-M. One has posted that they didn't accept a faxed letter. Therefore, it has to be sent in the mail. Therefore, it is a simple process. Again, e-mail them followed by signed letter in the mail. You can courier the letter as well to get signature on delivery. You can search this forum by entering the word (withdrawal) in the search space.
I don't know if they return the file with all the documents you sent. If there are important documents you want, I heard that you have write to them to return the application but this should be after receiving a letter confirming the withdrawal.

What do you mean by you took the Visa?
Do you have a US passport??

What is it that you are afraid of? Refusal or rejection of what exactly?

I do not have problems undersanding english, I only have problem understanding your english.
That is why I asked if you can write arabic, but then you said you can not.
Now, If the story is confusing enough to ahuman being, a machine (google) may not be able to understand.
And then I will have to deal with the confusion of the confusing story PLUS the confusion of the confused machine that is trying to translate the confusing story.
Whatever, I agree that you should try to write the story in any language you want (except chinese) . But keep it simple and put it all together, you almost lost me.

If you change your mind about sponsoring a family member, you must write a letter to the appropriate Case Processing Centre before a permanent resident visa is issued. Once permanent resident visas are issued, the promise that you and, if applicable, your co-signer, made to support your family member is valid for the term of your application.

The application is an unconditional promise of support. For example, the granting of Canadian citizenship, relationship breakdown or moving to another province does not cancel the application. The application also remains in effect if your financial situation changes and you can no longer afford to provide financial support.

hi mroliveland....how are you?...thanks for ur interest..i applied August 2011...and my file is (in process ) in Ott_pilot, married him since 2010..and know him since 2007...we supposed to break up but thanks GOD we didn't...but he send email to CPC-m..tell them he wants to withdrawing his sponsorship...after me and him make it up so we want the process to going in it's way? :'(

They have contacted my husband about two weeks ago to ask if he's completed the medical extension that they sent him after he did the interview. The lady also asked him to get the tracking number from the docotor and to send in his passport but we haven't recieved anything as of yet; neither a call from them nor an email to tell us anything. Anyone has a clue what decision made at this stage really means?

Most likely Decision Made means that they finalized the processing of the application and decided that they are going to grant your husband the VISA inshaa Allah. Congratulations and best wishes.
