I'm asking the same question for months now. I need to know any info about processing times in Cairo VO. Do you have an application being processed these days at the Cairo VO ?

Yeah its strange how no one posts in here for months. I was wondering if they started another thread :). To answer ur question yes but isnt spousal sponsorship, it's gov assisted refugee application. Cairo Vo is one of the most useless VO in the world

I applied to sponsor my wife last December. Medical was done in May, and we're still waiting for pre-arrival and PPR. I know someone who applied in January and already got their PPR a couple of months ago. Sooooo processing times seem random :(

hi, i know it has been a while. but did you end up getting your PPR? i appled in november 2022 and since april we have received no update..

Hello,
I am in the process of applying for a spousal PR with my husband, and was hoping to get some clarification on a few things as it relates to Egypt specifically:
1) The application notes to scan his entire passport. Does this include blank pages and if so, should we also get a certified copy of all (even blank) pages?
2) For all non-English documents, is my understanding correct that we should first get a Certified Copy (from a notary) then get that certified copy translated from a Translator? Is there another step after this?
3) Our marriage license was previously translated into English at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Cairo. When they translated the document they stamped the page with some Arabic stamps... would we need to have these additional stamps translated? And is that office the best/most appropriate office for translations?
4) Do you have any local recommendations for notaries or translators that would be best to use? (We are in Cairo currently)

Any help is appreciated, thank you!
