I am starting this topic in order to share timelines of those who have sponsorship application processed at Cairo office, Egypt. My application has just transferred to Cairo office two weeks ago. my E-cas status is Application Received. anyone else?

I hope you can help me if you can ,
My name is Amir from Egypt , I am married since 1 year with a canadian citizenby birth . she was a born in Quebec in 1991 , and she left canada while she was 8 years old .
we are living together in Egypt , she is trying to sponsor me and our 2 months baby , I have some questions and please help me because I stayed times looking for somone with the same sitiuation . by the way we are planning to reside in quebec .
1- As our baby will get soon the canadian nationality , should we include him in the IMM ADDITIONAL FAMILY INFORMATION ? OR in IMM 0008 GENERIC APPLICATION FOR CANADA ? or in the Application for selection certificate A-0520 of Quebec?

2- should she fill in the form of FINANCIAL CAPACITY EVALUATION for Quebec? (she didnot even visit canada since (1996)

3- In the IMM 5540 , they ask about (proof of your intention to reestablish in canada ) , if we get a letter from her canadian uncle living in quebec , or his brother that who live there too , will this letter help us till we can get jobs is that enough ?

4- during filling the undertaking IMM 1344 , as she is unemployed , my question is if we are going to deposit money or save money in bank account is that enough to cover these basic need mentioned ? if so ,
- should we deposit the money in my or in her bank account and
- how much is minimum required for me , her and our 2 months baby ?

Hey! It seems I am a step behind you. I applied 58 day ago and I am still waiting for my SA. Hopefully I will get it and they will transfer it to the Cairo office. How long was it between your SA and AOR2? This whole process is dreadfully long...

I haven't received anything from Cairo
I just got my SA on May 19 and email says my file has been transferred to Cairo on June 22 , I don't know if this is the AOR2 or not

Did anyone get AOR 2 from the Cairo visa office? My app was transferred there about a month ago and we haven not heard anything... but I know that people often don't. Did any of you get AOR 2?

I am PR in Canada past 7 months , doing some exams for my job Board that`s why I was dedicated in studying and do not work in Canada .
Recently , I got married from Egyptian girl . When , I filled application I found it asked me about my employment status and taxes to provide as mentioned in document checklist . I do not pay taxes and I never visited CRA .
Do you think being unemployed yet will affect her file in bad situation ?
And , because I do not pay taxes that would affect also ?
Notify that I have saving in my home country EGYPT not in CANADA . I will provide bank statement from EGYPTIAN BANK . IS that OK ?
Last question . Does she need to provide work experience or ILETS test ?
