I think the general rule, as I understand from the veterans of this forum (ie Jigzyy) is that a BVL on its own with being preceded by an AIP usually means refusal.

Wait. If I submit my biometrics and get BVL+ AIP means refusal? What is the logic behind that?

No, I have not received anything. I am just wondering so I can understand my situation once I submit my biometrics and get a BVL.

- Abu Dhabi office (I know )
- Applied on the 2nd of Sep
- Winter '21 intake
- Biometrics done previously
- No medical required for applicants in Oman
- AIP received on 14th of Sep
- DLI is on approved list
- BVL received today 22nd Oct
The time of beckoning is near.... I guess.

I have observed the opposite in cases of those who i personally know got refused were sent bvl and next day refusal letter. How can bvl+aip means refusal thats strange and new to me

First SP. Last year was a visit visa application that was refused. That's how I have my biometrics done already.

I know those who are refused with NO aip and directly bvl one day and refusal later. Few cases in Pakistan got ppr post aip and I think they didn't got bvl

Hi guys. Submitted my application on July 31st, got AIP on 7th August, Plus medicals was validated same day. Did biometrics September 16th. No communication from then onwards. Scared now.. dont know what to expect

That's precisely what I'm saying. Those who receieved a BVL without getting an AIP before that usually get a refusal soon thereafter.

do people who have already submitted biometrics with previous applications also get BLV letter?
I already have 10 year visit visa to Canada since 2017 and have received AIP for study permit. Mcgill masters program and its on approved DLI too. Medical passed too. So will i receive a BVL too? Prior to stage 2 approval? Or can they send stage 2 without it maybe too?

I am a Pakistani applying from U.S., do you think that would apply to me too? Getting PPR without BVL?
