Buffalo Waiting Period: PPR after MEDICAL

Couple of my friend's friends recieved in 2.5 months in saskatchewan.. I hopes its faster.. I am sick of waiting... also regarding passport, i heard that courier doesnt take passport for all countries.. just check if bangaldesh prohibits sending passport by mail.. any updates about rprf...

• Address disappeared
• Status has been changed to "in process"
  • CIC received application for permanent residence on January 18, 2011
  • CIC started processing application on September 2, 2011
  • Medical results have been received

Well, I finally got an answer to my query. I received a request for RPRF and PPR via email this morning. I am truly stunned , unprepared :-\ and at the same time very happy .

just a quick question for u where u submit medicals for your wife in Ottawa or back home and what about PPR for ur wife, she has submit her passport back home or here.

Well, I received it even faster

Now, I got a problem. Local FeDex office in Bangladesh will probably not accept Passport parcel as my wife contacted them yesterday. This puts me in a dilemna now especially when it's instructed in my PPR email that I AND ANY OTHER ACCOMPANYING FAMILY MEMBER SHOULD SUBMIT PASSPORTS TOGETHER FOR IMMIGRATION VISA.

Your case is remarkably fast, everything done in less than 8 months OMG! What kind of request you made to them, and how long was that after medical?

I just complete my medical this week. I think a month or two from now I will make a query to them. Looks like thing getting a lot faster. I started dealing with Buffalo since April so November should be my month to get PPR.

Can you share how you made your query?

Question: I am planning to visit my home country in October (me and my wife) and stay there for couple of months. Since processing getting faster, if I get ppr request during my staying in home country, is it possible to send both passport from there?

if you have somebody going to gulf countries, give it ot them in hand and tell them to send by couries from dubai or anywwhere.. cos in uae, fedex acceopts passport..

Well, by 'query', I meant this thread I opened. My and my wife's medical report were received by Ottawa on Aug 3 and Aug 22 repsectively. I checked on e-CAS on Sep 6 and found that it has been updated stating they received our medicals and the status is now "in process".

As of today (Sep 8), I got my PPR and RPRF Request via email at 8:45am when I was walking from my home to my office. Can't be more specific...

Seeing my case and others, who applied in March/April (2011), receiving their AOR/e-CAS updates; I can assume Buffalo has become remarkably fast. I would recommend you to postpone your tour becasue it may not be possible to send passports from outside US and Canada.

I will copy-paste the whole email I received so that everyone finds his/her specific answer.
