What did you mean by "NOT AT THE COST OF PEOPLE WHO ARE ALREADY BEHIND"? If you meant you don't want your PPR before anyone (literary anyone from around the globe that applied in PNP stream) who applied before you; will you return the PPR to Buffalo?

No I would not return my PR. But all I am saying is that- buffalo is not fair with processing the files in proper order. There are people who have not recieved from buffalo who are roughly 3 months ahead of you. LOL

I'm very well aware that there are lot of people who applied long before me and still did not receive their PPR. I wish them good luck. Immigration is not anyone's right; you ask for it from Canada which isn't your country (neither mine). If you ask something from someone; can you question "WHY THE HELL YOU ARE NOT GIVING IT TO ME, EVEN IF YOU DO WHY THE HELL IT'S NOT HAPPENING QUICK?" Well, I can't.

My wife applied for Visitor Visa twice (1st to attend my convocation and 2nd while I'm working). She was rejected both times. I couldn't say IT WAS UNFAIR. Again, getting VISA isn't anyone's right yet.

Everyone knows that each case is unique and handled separately. Yes, I feel lucky to have it so fast and obviously never expected to get it before other earlier applicants.

I don't care whether others having it on right time or not - this is my honest opinion. I will care when I'm having it or why it got denied or something. I will not shed tears upon people getting rejected. Again, I say what is fact to me. But I will reply to those who seek help and I'm knowledgeable/experienced on that.

Hey Rossie, Did your wife sent her passport yet.. just woendeing if there ia any other option get get the passport here.. cos my wife is giving her passport to somebody who goes to Dubai in had and then from there her brother send it to me by fedex.. cos in dubai fedex accepts passport.. Let me know if there is any easier way... thanks.. forgot to wish u... CONGRATS..

Get my name spell right sinpguy. ;D

Well, I have tons of distant relatives living here; so I found someone who is coming back from Bangladesh this weekend. My wife gave her passport to her. I had to pluck my hair finding a way to bring her passport over here. It seemed I cannot do anything even after receiving PPR. Sounded hopeless. I will look for opportunities to send it back again ???.

FeDex of Bangladesh also consented to parcel it to Canada; but they will not guarantee if Canada Customs seize the passport. That's the catch. If you are bringing passport from Dubai; clear out these things.

And thanks for the wish. Good luck!

THanks. Rossei.. got it right this time... uhh this time it is email and not postal maill.. it was depressing last time for medicals, every day go and loook the post box and find nothing... Well hope for the best to get it soon;; So Rossei, u will be off from this forum in few weeks, forever heyyy...

so I just got my medical request from buff, I'm so excited, how long after they get the results will I be getting my residency in best/worst scenario?

another question, my common law is canadian and lives in canada, does she need the medical too, I'm assuming not

BTW Rossei I have been following ur case and I'm so happy for u.

Well, I received it even faster ;)

Now, I got a problem. Local FeDex office in Bangladesh will probably not accept Passport parcel as my wife contacted them yesterday. This puts me in a dilemna now especially when it's instructed in my PPR email that I AND ANY OTHER ACCOMPANYING FAMILY MEMBER SHOULD SUBMIT PASSPORTS TOGETHER FOR IMMIGRATION VISA.

Hi,

Did your wife try with DHL or UPS?

its nothing to do with any courier company.. its do with country.. some countries passport is prohibited item. some coutries not.. fedex accept passsport in middle easter n countries

i have sent them medical on 23rd april 2011 still waiting for ppr?

Please advice all.

regards
harsha

I actually called the CIC number and followed your instruction. I used my UCI# and it says same as it's written in my e-CAS that "my application was received on 18 January 2011". That's it.:(

But this is something worth trying. Will keep in mind for future. Thanks.

Yes, you can call this number but it may not be a toll-free when you are calling from Dubai.

I've just tried this number and they don't give a proper update. My e-CAS is more updated saying that "Medicals have been received and my application is in process now". In reality, I've already got my Passport Request from CIC. But this automated phone service still says the same as before that my application was received.

Phone system won't work for outside Canada applications :)

Hi Can you please any one suggest me on this case.

I applied my PNP PR in 2010 Oct.
Buffalo received my file on march 1st 2011.
I got AOR and Medicals on sep 12th 2011.
Mean this time i got changed my status single to married.
I want to update my file with my wife details.
Can any one suggest me which forms do i need send.

Thanks,

Hi,

I have done medical and the doctor send my report to Ottawa without Section A which comes as medical request form with photo attached. Shouldn't this section A form send with medical report?
Doctor said he doesn't need that. Is that correct?

Thanks

Check if he sent a copy of Section A and gave you back the original. Medical cannot be validated without section because it contains applicant info. If he sent your medical without Section A I think your file may get delayed.

I received Medical Request today in mail, postmarked Sep 9, 2011

So application received April 21
AOR via email Sep 1
Medical via mail Sep 9

Keep it up, Buffalo. I hope PPR to come in the next month :D
