yes, I did send email through Specific Inquiry. As Rossie said, I think if your application is in process, they will reply to you 2-3 days.

So only when we apply for to vegriville(for work perm,it, study permit), ecas is updated more often.. is that right... I was thinking since we post it to Fort erie, it is considered as inside canada... So that means, when we apply to Buffaal office, we cant trust ecas ..

Hi sinpguy,

I know a friend, he sent to Fort Erie and after that, the application transferred to Buffalo. I'm not sure in your case. I knew because he received File No. from Buffalo office.

Fort Erie is a receiving terminal for Buffalo. Buffalo has set up a mail box at Fort Erie post office so people can take advantage of sending stuffs to them using Canada Post.

Fort Erie is not a processing center.

Ottawa received my medicals on September 15th so it took them exactly 3 weeks to update ECAS.

When I checked ECAS, nothing update even though I got confirmation from Buffalo office.
