i received passport today with PR visa..it has been almost 3.6 years i have been waiting..

Hi, guys, I received the email from CPP-ottawwa that they ask me updated documents. Basically, I am a May 2010 applicant and submitted all the docs including medical and landing fees in last summer. I noticed that one of the forms asks for IELTS record, but I submitted Toefl and GRE instead of IELTS 3 years ago. So I am not sure if I need do IELTS. And they are not evaluating me , right ?

BTW, I have the good news too. I want to share it with everybody here at the ealiest time. I got the PPR from New York visa office today as well. Really happy especially for my case with a couple of setbacks. I would like to share my story at other time later on. Best wish to you guys too.


Besides, a question for those who have gone through PPR.

How did you guys send passports? I mean by rgular mail or by courier? Did you guys enclose the prepaid envelop with your passports?

Hello Everyone,

Did anyone run into an issue with their children's passports? My home country does not issue passports or any kind of photo id to citizens younger than 16. What they do is put the kids photos and info on the back of their parents passport. Kind of like a mini passport in the back of parent's passport. But CIC is requesting me to send a separate passport for my son who is 7! But my home country is refusing to issue a passport to my son! Have anyone had this kind of problem before? And what was the solution?
