This is amazing! I was thinking I am the only one with file reviewed and no MR!

we are a new kind of species in immigration systems that our file has been reviewed, we were positively selected in FSW category, but officer hesitated to request medical! usually when file is reviewed by officer and result is positive selection, the famous sentence is coming: "Your file has been reviewed ....". Medical is usually requested in that time and background check will start. As soon as CIC hear from result of background check, they request passport.

However, in our cases, our file all has been already reviewed and results were positive (otherwise we should have receive a letter of rejection by now). But officers did not request medical! I assume if we hear from them for medical, PPR would be pretty fast after that, since we should have been cleared by now. I think CIC is waiting for result of our background check to finalize our files.

Well, you know what it took them almost 3 months to move files from Buffalo to Ottawa !!! Let see how long it is gonna take them to do background check for us . last come first serve . First in last out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All we need is more patience but mine is running out .

I'm in the same boat, they asked me photographs April 19th 2012, I'm a june 2010 applicant, I'm hoping
things will be fast once we get a medical, but I don't understand why it takes 5 months to do a background
check, when I have been living in Canada for last 6 years and on a wp since last 2 years....I don't think they have
any explanation for this, even after taking 3 moths for files to transfer from buffalo...we at least deserve a courtesy letter
from cic stating when our cases will be finalized//.

PNP has been always fast!!!! FSW has no luck whatsoever.............We should be thankful they didn't send a letter saying we have withdrawn your application!!!!!! If they new what courtesy is that would be nice!!!! sometimes it takes longer than 5 months for background check depending on the Analyst who is taking care of our files.

To be honest with you my close friend applied July 2011 for CEC and she did FSW with me in March 2010. she only received file number for CEC since then n nothing else. All I can say is no matter where we go the color of sky is blue for us...... WE ARE NOT LUCKY AT ALL.
