One question, Do you have the line "Medical results has been received" on you eCase and how long it take after medical done?
I have my medical done in May02, 2012, but no line added to my ecase.

PPR comes for me as well!!

I have MER showed in my E-cas. I have done the ME in Apr and it showed up in Jun. Hope that helps!

i just wounder and emailed Ottawa this night asking for update on my application status. First, I received automatic replay, then after two hours, I received personal written reply. It looks like standard format, but it personal typed; it involve my file number and other personal info. It is now about midnight 12:00am and the Ottawa time is 11:00pm. Are they working night?
Hopefully, the email is correct.

Today nov 22 @ 13 28. I have received ppr e mail from ottawa . Passports should be in Detroit in 30 days

Count me in! Waiting since this line got added back around April 23, 2012 and later changed from Buffalo to CPP-O sometime in July:

We received your application for permanent residence on May 31, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on November 4, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the Case Processing Centre Ottawa office. They are pending review.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on April 19, 2012.

I'm in the same boat, they asked me photographs April 19th 2012, I'm a june 2010 applicant, I'm hoping
things will be fast once we get a medical, but I don't understand why it takes 5 months to do a background
check, when I have been living in Canada for last 6 years and on a wp since last 2 years....I don't think they have
any explanation for this, even after taking 3 moths for files to transfer from buffalo...we at least deserve a courtesy letter
from cic stating when our cases will be finalized//.

I don't know if they are doing backgroud check right now because no references of mien notify me anything.

Maybe they just have not begin to issue medicals unitl they finish sending PPR for all the applicants with medicals. Who know what the hell are they doing??

To be honest with you my close friend applied July 2011 for CEC and she did FSW with me in March 2010. she only received file number for CEC since then n nothing else. All I can say is no matter where we go the color of sky is blue for us...... WE ARE NOT LUCKY AT ALL.

That is absolutely a special case. I know a lot people applying for CEC this year got a big progress on their application

Applying in one category is different that applying for two category at the same time!!!!! They only applied under CEC if I am not mistaken!!!!

Quick questions for you, did you send your passport incl workvisa? or only the passports?
