Post from brant007

My file is transferred from Buffalo VO to Ottawa last week. (FSW application)
They said they are doing the background check.

DO I have to wait 8-10 weeks again!?
My medical is done on March and additional documents(FBI police certificate) were sent to Buffalo VO on early April.
It is taking so long!!

Do you know why our files were transferred to Ottawa?

Thanks for your information.
Buffalo office has been closed permanently and Ottawa will take care of the cases.

Hi Willem,

By last week, you mean after shutting down Buffalo VO I guess. So did Ottawa contact you and told you that your file will be process there? Or Buffalo VO informed you? My question is should we receive an email from Buffalo about transfer of our files to Ottawa??
