nope..buffalo didnt ask me any additional docs..as far as your case is concerned..you need to send all your documents to the Ottawa office..the Ottawa office address is mentioned in the cic website..just mail them your docs with your case # (starting with b*) and also in a cover letter mention that you are sending them the doc as per the correspondence you received from Buffalo office..

I was thinking of doing the same thing even without specific instructions from Ottawa to mail it to them.

Did they request any additional documents from you? The reason I'm asking is because Buffalo requested some documents from me. Since they already closed and I haven't received any "official" email regarding my files getting transferred to Ottawa from Buffalo, I'm kind of lost as to where to mail the documents.

I've emailed Buffalo regarding this and interestingly enough, I believe New York, with this email address: cngny-immigration @ international.gc.ca, responded on July 18, 2012 and said that my files have been transferred to Ottawa and that I should wait for thirty days before contacting them.

I only have until July 31, 2012 to submit my addictional documents as per the instructions from Buffalo before they closed down.



Is anyone facing the same problem as I am?

I was also facing the same problem before. Then I sent email to Ottawa about this. Then they told me the mailing address by email, which was the same as the addressing posted on CIC website now.

I have a question as well for you. What documents did Buffalo request from you even though you had done the medical exam?

They requested for the RPRF, FBI clearance, and updated proof of funds together with the medicals. I already have everything except for the address where to send it to.

buffalo office closed on 29th may 2012 and it almost 53 days now but their is no reply from dm
how long we have to wait more

Guys anybody is with me I applied in may 2011 and got email from buffalo stating that we received your application from cic Canada on sep 1 st that's it no more queries from them I am so worried don't know what to do llama the time is wasting atleast no information what's going on any body is in the same boat no Medicals no update since sep 2011 reply me thanks

I am May 2011 applicant, I am in process since April 2012
Earlier it was RBVO but I asked Buffalo that i want to update my application and the status changed to In Process
So you can ask your Visa office for your status you will get some kind of update in your file.

Hi ram I got reply from cic pilot Ottawa they said let us allow 60 days to finish file transfer processing and please do apologize us for delay of you application process whole of 2 months so that means no they are doing nothing but transferring the files ..... I don't know guys they need 60 days to transfer the files from NY to Ottawa ???? Which is less than 400 miles from here ????????? Oh huh god even it shouldn't happen even to our enemies right !!!!!!!! 2 months is a long time .... Everybody says no second will come back for you but think about 60 days nothing gonna happen hmmmmmmm.... That's fine what us there .... We can do except waiting !!!!
