Hi guys,
Finally I received PPR, it came in 11:11pm. I can't believe I'm writing you this post. I'm so emotional at this moment.
I've checked yesterday my ecas was still in process and meds received.
I've to thank to everyone in this forum to be with me in good and in bad times. I'll continue to visit this forum until everyone here gets his/her PPR. Good luck as always.

You deserve every bit of this joy. After the long tumultuous uphill struggle, you are finally headed to a happy ending. on behalf of my family, I wish you a very enjoyable life in Canada. It appears your ecas never moved to 'Decision made'. Many prayer to those of us in line and still waiting for PPR.

When did you receive the gift from your mother? Was it before or after the request for POF? Sorry I did not go through the same experience and can't offer specific advice. However, when you add significant deposits before or after POF it can raise red flags and the concern from CIC may be that the money isn't yours but temporarily given to you to satisfy POF. What further documentation did they ask for?
Thank you Wolvy,
THe gift-money were deposited 2 weeks after they have asked for POF. They haven`t specified what type of information/documentation they`re looking for. Just anything that could allay theirs concerns. I couldn't think about anything else since the money I received were from mom to her daughter with clear written Gift letter. How can I prove a genuine intention of somebody`s parent to help her/his own child?... Then I made a Sworn Affidavit....it didn`t work too.

Here is my experience:
During the initial application, I included stock market statement, personal bank statements, and a statement from a son's account where one of us is a custodian. However, when CC requested for updated documents, our accounts were short by about $3000 although the baby's account had more than 50K. The REP suggested that we withdraw money from the baby's account (cash) and deposit it in the personal account because CIC couldn't understand whether we could transact the child's account without any restriction. We had to make all copies of the withdrawal slips, balance slip and deposit slip that forwarded to CIC.
To answer your question:
Let the mother notarize all the paperwork regarding this transaction. Also I would suggest that you enclose her notarized ids and a copy of your birth certificate that would link the two of you. I would NOT take chances with this matter however unreasonable this maybe.
I hope this helps.
Thank you, 2011july20,
I would have definitely considered only that if I haven`t received the last mail from them saying - " the $10,000 USD that was deposited as a gift is not acceptable proof of settlement funds. This amount has been deducted from the funds you have shown as available." And then they giving me a final 30 days -"to submit any the additional information and/ or documentation..." That`s sound like I need to find another source of making next deposits. Doesn`t it?

Congrats Samnov....Time to Partyyyyyy

Hiiii All,

As soon as I received PPR, I have requested Ottawa that I want to get my Visa stamped in New Delhi (since I moved to India) and after three weeks, they sent me a mail informing to get it stamped in New Delhi. This was on 13th June...and next day I submitted our Passports at NDVO in person...

Yesterday, I got the message that passports are ready and today I went and collected them.....I am soooooo happyyyy

We are planning to land in the month of July...and I will share those experiences once I land...
