Hi,

Have anyone updated CIC regarding newborn after receiving medicals? How long did CIC take to update newborn details and send medicals for the baby

Thanks.
For me after emailing my baby's documents took one day and they
Emailed me back Medical forms.
Good luck.

Hello everyone:

They mailed my COPR on March 3rd and sent it to my address in the US. It has now been 28 days. Has anyone heard of a familiar case to mine, does it take this long? Any advice would be appreciated.

I contacted CPP, they told me they sent it on March 3rd and I have written to them again saying it is probably lost... but they no longer answer...

Frustrated

Hi,

I am Sep 2010 applicant and my file was transferred from Buffalo to Ottawa.

Can anyone tell me how long does it take to get passport request after all the medicals are completed?

Thanks

Thanks buddy, but my situation is little different. We got medical request back in July 2013 but my wife was expecting at that time so her medical was not complete. CIC put our file on hold until delivery. Now we have a baby, my wife's medical is complete and now I am sending requested documents in order to add my newborn son to our pending application. I am assuming they will send his medical forms in 2-3 weeks after getting the documents. I will complete his medical as soon as we get the medical request. I estimate is that within this April, his medical should be done.

But, my main concern is that after medical how long will it take to get the passport request so I can resign in USA accordingly.

Thanks

Nobody can tell you exactly. How I see on this forum it's take from 2 weeks to 1 year, average 3 months.

Hi Guys,

I am filling out IMM0008 again to add my newborn son. Question # 10, current country of residence. They are asking FROM and TO date. I am still in USA so what should I put in 'TO' field. It's not letting me enter PRESENT or CURRENT. Please suggest.

Thanks

If you have visa to USA print a date of expiry.

I don't think it's appropriate, my US visa is not expiring until late 2016. I intent to land in Canada this summer, I don't want these dates to conflict.

Thanks for your response though.

In my opinion, this is not inconsistent, anyway, it should be a date in the future.

Just put 2016. I did the same

As I said our initial medical request came in July 2013 but couldn't be completed due to pregnancy. From July 2013 to Feb 2014 our case was on hold.

My questions is: When the case was on hold, did everything stopped or they might have done other stuff meanwhile (criminality check, inadmissibility check, etc.)?

Thanks
