Hi Guys,

Passport question here: We have a baby and when we travel his photo is in his mom's passport. He does not have a separate passport. Do we need a passport for him for visa purposes? Thanks

Hello Forum members,

I'm planning to land in Windsor,Ontario via Detroit border on Saturday April 19,2014,and then leave on Sunday April 20,2014.I plan to permanently land in Jan 2015.Is that feasible? Will they send my resident permit card to an address of my choice?

All those who are having trouble printing Xpresspost label, I think it is a browser issue. Try using Internet Explorer. I tried Chrome first but the credit card just would not go through. I used both, US issued as well as Canadian issued credit cards. Then tried IE and it went through right away.

Hope this helps.

Congrats on your PPR! I wonder what the issue is with the Canada Post site, I tried firefox, chrome, and ie and it didn't work. I ended up just crossing into Canada and going to the post office in person to get a xpresspost envelope. Good luck on the rest of the process for you.

Hello friends I received good and bad news from Ottowa just now. It has been a month since I have been Decision Made, but no one has contacted me.

I wrote to Ottowa today and they wrote back that my COPR was mailed on March 5. While I am very happy to be accepted, it is now March 28... Four weeks for a letter to get to Virginia in the US!... does not sound possible. I think the COPR is lost. I think they wrote our address down incorrectly. Our address is :

500 Sutton St.
Apartment 350
City...

and I believe Canadians write:

350-500 Sutton st
City...

Our mailman is not very intelligent and it could have gotten lost. What do I do? Will they send another? Please advise

Thanks,
Cam

Cam great news that they sent it! But it is very annoying that they didn't have the correct address. In the event that it was undelivered it should be sent back to Ottawa. Another user on the forum said that they happened to him, it was sent to the wrong address and was returned to Ottawa. They then got in touch with the user and requested the correct address. I would check with you local post office and see if it there with the wrong address. If not and it has not been return to Ottawa then it may be lost :( Ottawa should issue you another, send them an email. So sorry that it was delayed to you.

Good news guys, my tracker was activated today :) Praying for everyone else to get their ppr.

Great news for you too Wolvy, Congratulations! :)

As for me, I wrote to them that I think it is lost. It has been 25 days since they mailed it, the letter should not take this long. When I first gave them my address, I noticed that they are putting the apt number above next to the street number. But they told me if they mail you something they would write it correctly, as in the US.

This long painful ordeal has no end for me. To issue another COPR they probably need another picture, and that would delay things further. What a mess... I would pay them to send it by FedEx but I don't know if they accept.

Friends,

My file was transferred from Buffalo to Ottawa.

My questions is how long does it take to get Passport request after the medicals are done?

What are the chances of getting PR after medical request?

Thanks
