Hi All,

I need a suggestion. I applied in April 2011 under FSW1 and got medical exam request in July 2013 and still waiting for PPR since then.

I also got a job offer in 2013 and submitted a second application in May 2013 under FSW2 as my previous application was in queue for more than 2 years.
I called CIC call center and they told me that we can submit two applications and it is fine. Both application will be processed and whichever completes first, will get the PR and second application will be closed automatically.

I just logged-in to my eCAS online and saw that my old application under FSW1 submitted in April 2011 has been withdrawn and my new application (submitted under FSW2 in May 2013) says In-Process and following two lines added
- We start processing on your file in January 2014
- Medical results have been received

I did medical exam for my old application, but they automatically added medical results on my second application.

Is it a good news or a bad news that I have to wait more ?

Please any suggestions? I am feeling depressed of waiting so long now ...

To me, I think it is good news: reason-They both fell under the same time line in terms of processing but FSW2 process is far faster than FSW1. I bet you will receiving PPR very soon-probably before end of this month!
I pray for you and Good luck.

Just an update I got PPR just now they want two photos for all family members also. One more thing, I updated my mailing address three months ago online and also shows on my Ecas but the PPR email has still my old address.

Congrats..

Hello Everyone,

Its a month my Ecas has been got the “Decision Made” line and my day 26 starts today after sending my passport (When I see the current timeline to get back the passport, its really makes me anxious)... ....Never thought my New Year would be starting like that... I sent emails to CPP-O but no response! Just want to know: when CPP-O received my package it was signed by G TREMBLAY and my PPR was requested by visa officer AA5582. Anyone has the same experience?

Your answer will be appreciated. Thank you!

Regards,
Jessica

lately, from what i see, it takes CPP-O less then 2 weeks to process the passport and return them back.

Why is there a melodrama by CIC, they keep saying
decision made....decision made means still in process and not revealing
the actual result....it must be like a yes/no question rather that
beating around the bush, about decision made.
still waiting for the result.

Thanks 2011july20 !

Lets hope that PPR comes soon for everyone !!!

Hello Forum members,

I have 2 questions: (1) Is it mandatory to have your funds or proof of funds when first landing in Canada after immigrant visas have been issued.I have a family of four.

(2) I'm expecting my passport request soon.Is it ok to buy the Canada post express envelope now, just like Dr kbknaidu?

Please I need urgent answers.
