Just an update I got PPR just now they want two photos for all family members also. One more thing, I updated my mailing address three months ago online and also shows on my Ecas but the PPR email has still my old address.

First of all congratulation on your PPR request !! Second don't worry about changing your address, as i have request to change my address through email, registered post and by fax but when i received my CoPR, address was still the old one. But when you do landing they will ask you for the current address so they can send PR card on new address..So my suggestion don't' worry about it..Enjoy the moment..good luck

Congrats. I dont think you should worry yourself about the address change. You are probably not going to get any physical mail except your PR card. And the good thing is that your COPR will show your address and you will be given the opportunity to confirm if it is the correct address during your landing (those that have landed can confirm this). If you are really concern, may be you should call them.

Thanks JJ-C,
I am not from visa exempt country so I need to send our passports for visa stamping. I am planning to write a letter to them and will send it along my passports to CIC.

Congrads! Just call CIC call centre and ask them to change your address. If you change it online, it is useless, call CIC.

Thanks Fortunate! I will write a letter and send it along my passports to CIC.

is there anyone in this forum (except for me) who has applied in Winter 2011 and has not get PPR yet?

Hi All,

I need a suggestion. I applied in April 2011 under FSW1 and got medical exam request in July 2013 and still waiting for PPR since then.

I also got a job offer in 2013 and submitted a second application in May 2013 under FSW2 as my previous application was in queue for more than 2 years.
I called CIC call center and they told me that we can submit two applications and it is fine. Both application will be processed and whichever completes first, will get the PR and second application will be closed automatically.

I just logged-in to my eCAS online and saw that my old application under FSW1 submitted in April 2011 has been withdrawn and my new application (submitted under FSW2 in May 2013) says In-Process and following two lines added
- We start processing on your file in January 2014
- Medical results have been received

I did medical exam for my old application, but they automatically added medical results on my second application.

Is it a good news or a bad news that I have to wait more ?

Please any suggestions? I am feeling depressed of waiting so long now ...
