I would recommend you to send them the original documents via regular mail. All my friend who were asked for update documents, did the same. In the email I received under the name of "documents required" from DB00204, it is clarified like this:
All documents must be accompanied by English or French translations. When original documents are requested, notarised documents are not acceptable. If you are unable to provide any or all of the requested documents/information, please explain why they are not available.

cheers

I have the same officer, DR00204, he/she asked for same documents and interestingly enough, it must be mailed to him/her. I see around here that other applicants can scan the documents and email them (with the exception of the police certificates)....Weird, ha?

Hello all,

This morning I received an email from CIC asking for proof of funds and IM5559, "Details of Military Service".
They have asked me to submit the requested docs to CPP Otawa and have provided a mailing address.
I scanned the docs and sent them via email. Any experience with similar situation?
By the way my case analyst ID is: DB00204.

Thanks

did you serve in military in Yugoslavia?

Could the officers before MR and after MR be different ones? Or it stays the same?

Hi Guys,
I received today confirmation from VO that he got finally my
Child's docs and added to my application. In a separate email
He send me medical forms for for my son. But we did last week
ME and the doctor has opened a new account for him. Now,
What should I do with this forms here?

mine stayed the same, DB00204 issued MR and then the same officer asked for update Docs and again asked for my husbands cv and list of publications, and after that s/he forgot my case till now! I hope s/he wakes up and issue my PPR before 2014. A friend pf mine who had another visa officer and got his MR on the same day as I got it, received his PR card and I am still waiting for PPR! another friend with another officer who hot hos medical 2 months later than me also got his PPR abd landed and me...... wait, wait.....
I wonder how slow s/he is.

No I didn't!

then why they want form IMM 5559 from you? this form is for people with military service in Yugoslavia,
"Men who were between 18 and 65 years of age and in the former Yugoslavia in the 1990s must
complete the Supplementary Information Form (IMM 5559)."

veri, you are right! This guy is confused, he probably meant to say form IMM 5579 not IMM 5559.

So finally I got "the best" email in my mailbox this morning. It looked like luscious and mouthwatering cookies served in the form of an email.

After waiting + struggling for two and a half years I finally got the PPR request. But I have a lil doubt. They didn't send me any bio data form yet. Is it very necessary document to be filled before getting the permanent resident visa or a officer can avoid it if he wants to. If someone can answer this query, that will be so nice of him/her.

My timeline are:
Applied under FSW in august 2011
Got 1st AOR in November 2011 and then the second one from buffalo in January 2012 that they have received my file.
After that I didn't receive any communication from them. Even didn't know when my file got transferred to Ottawa (as I didn't get any email from them)
On august 8, some of the VO wakes up from his sleep and asked me for some updated documents. Those were;
IMM0008, IMM5669, IMM5406, schedule 3 and updated letter of reference from current employer (as I am in canada)
After that I got another email on October 30 to send a copy of my brothers passport (this might be because I claimed 10 points for adaptability as my brother is canadian citizen)
Updated my ecas that they started processing my file on November 6.
November 14, I got medical and rprf request. Medicals got done on 21 November and paid rprf on time.
Ecas with medical was updated on November 7 midnight (Saturday night)
And this morning around 12 pm I got passport request.

Already sent the passport.

I don't know why, but I am feeling so nervous right now ??? ???
