My COPR/PR entry visa arrived in the mail today - I'm home free 8) Planning on crossing with my wife in early December.

Congratulations Paul, safe landing 8) ;) :P

Hi Mates,

Ottawa has received my passport just 4 hours ago (today at 12:33PM Ottawa time) to stamp my PR visa.
Just have checked the ECAS status, the 4th line has been added. "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."
What does it mean? My Visa is already stamped? :)

Hi cam1234 ,

Whats going on with your case . Here is my udpate and question ..

They have asked me following today ... I guess just submitting our canadian bank account should be sufficient . We have more than 30,000 CAD in our accounts [ Checking account + Savings + TFSA account etc. ] .

This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following documents:

· Updated evidence of settlement funds (showing 3 months deposits/ withdrawals history) for yourself and your spouse

Please submit the requested documents/fees to the following address:

In mid - July they have already asked following documents ... letter from employer , contracts with duties performed , Payslips since 2009 , T4 and NOA since 2009.
Do you think above request could be last document request before PPR ? BTW my wife had a medical futherance question, details of which was sent by DMP in 1st week of October.

Hi Irow:
I think these are probably the last documents...
Cheers,
Cam

ok, one more question...., I was told to send updated docs + police certificates to Ottawa office. I'm planning on using fedEx or UPS, and would like to ask for signature delivery. Do you think someone will be there to sign for documents or mailman will just drop them off in the mailbox and walk away?

thanks.

Usually, it will go to the mailroom and the mailman will sign for it if requested.

Hi ashutosh,
In my case, I got rprf and medical request in the same mail. And within that mail it was written that the instruction for medical (along with medical form mail) will be forthcoming. If I do not get it within next 72 hrs then I have to inform cic by forwarding this email to them.
But I got medical form in a separate email with next 5 mins. So you should better check yr spam messages or even have a look in yr inbox itself (you might have missed it thinking it's just a newsletter). Also just check if there's an enclosed file (medical form) within the same email in which you are asked to submit yr rprf fee.

Good luck mad keep posted as we are in the same boat.

May god bless all of us.

That is true. i had mine the same way you described above: it comes as an attachment which must be downloaded. You probably might not be having the PDF reader or Win Zip to download these files for viewing or printing as requested.

That should be enough as long as the money has been there for the last 3 months or more . Only the visa officer can determine what happens before issuing a PPr.

Cheers :) :) :)

Ecas updated as medical received.
I am not able to get the FBI within the time frame allocated by CIC, so have done state PCC and am planning to mail it with a cover letter explaining the delay. Has anyone done the same way...please share ur experience.
Did CIC get u back if u had send the cover letter?

Got a request for Illinois State Police clearance, just wondering how it is processed.
Should the fingerprints must be done by live scan or by manual fingerprinting on the paper
which needs to be sent to Illinois State police.
Anyone from Illinois had the same request.

Thanks com2canada . I guess for a simple request like there is no need for cover letter etc. Just simple bank statements for both of us and their email print out should be enough.
