Thanks Jayson,
Will be using CC, CIC doesn't accept debit card for RPRF.

Guys, critical situation.
Need to change the visa H1B to F-1.
Last stage of processing....sent the medicals....
Is it advisable to change at this stage...
Even if i did, would it be a problem at the port of entry.

I have a Question, I tried to local Police departments for Finger Printing and they said they dont do it any more.... Do you know where i can get Finger printing for FBI.? I live in NJ area...

Thank you

Hi, I also live in NJ area and was asked by the CIC to submit either FBI or police clearance but since there's a backlog in FBI, I also applied for NJ police Clearance, it is shorted and simple. go to www.njsp.org/about/serv_chrc.html and follow the instruction. Please see below, this is what you will choose, FORM A then schedule a fingerprinting to MORPHOTRAK, this is the designated institution.

Applicants that require one of the following fingerprint based background checks and need the results mailed back to the applicant’s address must use form “A”. (A Criminal Hit will result in full disclosure of criminal record)
•Good Conduct
•Immigration
•Naturalization
•Personal Record
•Visa
•Expungement

hope this helps

He said proof of funds OR employment letter; if you are FSW2 you should have an employment letter and if you are no longer employed then you will need to provide POF. You are correct that if you are FSW2 and either currently employed in Canada or with a job offer, you don't need POF, but you will still need to provide proof of that job.

Ahh ok cool then. Thank you

Hi,
You should maintain your legal status, I believe H1B to F1 status change will not affect your application. If CIC has requested the updated documents with your medical and if you have already sent them then I think in next step CIC will only ask for your passport for visa stamping, and at the port of entry they will only check documents related to Canada visa not for USA status. these are my thoughts
Thanks,

Thanks,

I'm from NJ and waiting for PPR. If that time comes, I plan to drive across the border via Niagara falls. Does any body know what I can carry and what not to carry. We have two cars, my wife and kid are both US citizens. However, we plan to move with our household stuff for easy start. How does that work? Do we have to hire a U-Haul or a transportation company like a trailer that can carry everything at one time then we drive our two cars? we are confused, and please help.

I live in NJ and used the following people:
Finger Printing
201-262-0115
617 Oradell Avenue Suite 7
Oradell, NJ 07649.

Make an appointment, the finger printing card was $15.00 each (2011) plus service charge (forgotten the exact costs). I received my feed back from FBI in about 2 weeks.
There was no waiting when we visited then.
Send me a message at richard2anderson@yahoo.com if you need further assistance. I did my medical, paid visa fee and now waiting for PPR-God willing. Pray for me.

Paid my RPRF with my Debit card without a hitch/problem. Check with your bank restrictions for international transactions!
