Finally my road trip for PR is over! It was a very looooong wait but waiting is worth it. This trip won't only teach you how to virtue patience but will pull out the best of you and change you as a person in a good way. To those who are still waiting to reach their finish lines, just hold on and live your life. Sooner or later you'll just see you're almost there.

Thank you everyone for valuable informations shared in this forum. :D

i just checked my E-cas and it was "DECISION MADE" that means visa officers are still working on our papers even on weekends, how many more days, weeks will i have to wait? i send my passport last October 31, 2013.
Thanks

Hi there!
Thanks to all of you to share very valuable information here!

I was just wondering what the recent average of a waiting period to receive a COPR after sending a passport or a copy of passport to CIC Ottawa. I totally understand it always depends on CIC officers. I saw some people received a letter in two weeks, others received it in more than a month.

Thank you for your help!

My timeline is below -

Category: FSW2
Visa Office: Buffalo --> CPP-OTTAWA
App. Filed: May 2011
Med's Request: + RPRF Request: Sep. 2013
Passport Request: Oct. 31 2013
Passport Sent: Nov. 1 2013 (A copy of passport) CIC received on Nov. 4 2013
Decision Made on eCAS: Nov. 2 2013

Jayson,
thanks for the info, Apparently Iam sending upfront

I received email format for Payment of RPRF, I did my medicals but still in process to be received by cic, FBI PCC yet to be sent but thought of paying RPRF, so and as i followed the link and added my debit card information it said transaction unsuccessful.
Anyone has any idea if its coz of debit card? As i went through the Website it says credit card. I am paying through US bank issued visa debit card, and usually it can also be used as credit payment. I don't want to use credit card as the credit card company might put hold on large credit amount transferred internationally.
Please forum members with some idea about such transaction share your ideas..

It was probably declined because it is a debit card. I would use the credit card and follow up with the credit card company to give them a head up
