Hey gagan4u, you and me at the same boat right now. When did you submit the rest of documents requested (PCC, RPRF etc.) by Ottawa?

Thanks

Finally,
I recieved my passport with the Visa on Friday, Oct. 18 at 3pm and I landed at 6pm on the same day. The immigration jouney lasted exactly 40 months + 11 days.

Good luck every one.

Hi always positive,

Thank you so much for your a valid information, and ur patience, actually all the bellow documents are already sent at the time of application, the difference between accompanied and non accompanied is only the fee, and now I was requested all the documents again with my medicals. so is it right time to ask this issue or not?, please guide in this regard.

Hi Canada star,

The email requesting for MR and RPRF is a standard one sent to everyone so the part about spouse is sent to everyone.

You can add your wife by completing application forms for her as well and paying the required fees. Add her pictures, police certificate etc. She will need to sign the forms. Don't forget to indicate your file number and include a letter of explanation to say you are adding your wife. This is however likely to delay your application. Alternatively you may wait to complete the process and then sponsor her after you have your PR.
Before you even complete the forms, you can send a case specific email to CIC for guidance. The following is an email someone who applied under CEC received when he made such an inquiry:

"If your spouse is NOT a citizen or permanent resident of Canada, he or she must be examined in the context of your application, whether or not he or she will accompany you to Canada. He or she will have to undergo a medical examination. We will send you the appropriate form upon reception of the documents listed below.

In order to add your spouse to your application, we require the following documents:

• processing fee for your spouse (if accompanying you to Canada)
• notarized birth certificate of your spouse
• copy of your spouse's valid passport
• 3 recent photographs of your spouse according to the specifications
• a notarized "no" criminal activity certificate for your spouse
• a completed application kit with all the requirements
• updated IMM0008 Generic and updated IMM5406 "Additional Family Information" form for yourself.
• a "Certificat de Sélection du Québec" for your spouse ( in his or her name), if you wish to immigrate to the province of Québec (http://www.micc.gouv.qc.ca/fr/index.asp). ""

There are more experienced people in this forum who may also chip in suggestions for you.
Hope this helps
Cheers

In my personal view this is the time to inform them you want to change her status from unaccompanied to accompanied. Complete the updated forms for both of you as requested. You will need to pay her application fees and they are likely to send you her medical form. Send police certificate for her as well as they are likely to ask for it since she is outside Canada. When you email CIC about making her accompanied, make sure it is a case specific inquiry- directing it to the officer who sent you the MR.

Hi Gagan4u,
There is no cause for alarm. If you have passed eligibility, submitted all required documents and have done medicals, if a negetive decision will be made, a letter will be sent to you either by post or via email stating the reasons why your application was refused. You will be given a certain number of days to refute the allegation with proofs, which might even mean taking this up legally. ''Decision made'' will not be uploaded until you have come up with a counter claim and it has been looked into.(Mind you that is if the refusal is not based on eligibility, you not supplying a document within the time frame or you not going for the medicals) Say you were given 90 days to refute the allegation, if after the expiration of 90 days, they still have not heard from you, a decision will be made refusing your application. On the other hand, if there are questions about your medical or criminality/security which might warrant refusal-then a letter will be sent to you to refute the allegation or claim within the time frame given. My guess is that in your case decision made is positive and in a couple of days, you will get the passport request................All the best!

Any update for the new week?
I sent my criminal record to police in Sweden and the ones to FBI. Sweden is fast but they will send it straight to my lawyer. And FBI is my concern, who knows when they will get it and send it back to my lawyer. Medical exams done and same... They will send it to London (I don't know why there ) then London to my lawyer
Everything sent last week (oct 17th)

The thing is that I get more nervous since I don't have a way to track any of this documents.

Any experience any one can share?
