Trust me its not like.. when you work wit lawyer things become so difficult. . I tried my best to extract tis informaton and she was not ready to find out anyting. i did going with a lwyer.

Just call offices around you and ask about Saturday? Is it difficult for you? How can we know about Saturday availability of doctors around you?

The key is to act quickly on the many suggestions you have been given. It is possible you would have gotten PPR by now if you had done the medicals when you received the request.

follow the advice given by Alex, go online to look for a list of doctors on the CIC list in your area and call each of them to ask whether they work on Saturdays and if they have an opening for you. You need to grab the bull by the horn, don't wait. Asking for help on the forum and not acting on suggestions is just a waste of time you don't have, so hurry

I agree with always positive. Just call every possible doctors you can reach. And do emedical.
Like others I must say that you just ask for suggestions on forum but don't take them seriously. Now you are risking your PR!!
The last few honest suggestions from me:


1. Just do your emedical as soon as possible.
2. And tell you lawyer to email CIC the following information about your medical the next day you would do your medical and also tell him/her to forward you that email.

a) Name of the physician who would administer the medical examination

b) Address and phone number of the physician's office

c) Date that the medical examination would take place

d) Approximate date that the physician would send the medical results to CIC


If CIC do not get your medical within 60 days time frame and want to reject your application, this email/information could make them stop.

hi honpredictable, it took me 3.5 hours then i tried to hurry carefully back to calgary to go to service canada. for sure, you'll receive it anytime soon.

My Doctor sent an email to NHQ Health Immigration Ottawa (When they forwarded email to me, they ommitted FAX and Telephone no)and they got a response from that all medicals have been received and updated.

No action is required.

With that I have decided not to redo medicals. I would have to trust them and wait until I hear from Ottawa on PPR. I know its takingn little more time as compare to what I have seen in the forrum.

Lets hope for the best.

Passports are requested the same day the decision is made - that would sound the logical thing to do, but it might take a day or two or that same day for e-cas to be updated. But there are cases where decisions were made and the e-mail for PPR comes after.

But the trend recently has been to see PPR e-mail and decision made almost about the same time. I would feel much better though with PPR e-mail and decision made can come later ( I don't really care about what e-cas says anyways).

Yeah, I agree with you, one can have butterflies in the stomach to see decision made without passport request

Yes that would make me feel better to see PPR e-mail in my inbox and come e-cas status decision made. I just checked my e-cas and it says decision made but haven't got PPR e-mail. Keepig my fingers cross hope PPR would be in my inbox sometime today or tomorrow.
