Hi Skycanada! When did the CIC recieved your passport? They received mine Sept. 20- but my tracker is not active yet.

I have just received passport with visa and copr. I send it on 17 th September and it was received by Ottawa on 19th September.

It took 3 weeks to process.

Your valid work permit, and obviously your passport and COPR. All documents must be valid and not expired- all for you and every member of your family.

same here Alex, good observation, I realise when I offer a suggestion, I often get a minus. It bothered me a bit and I commented on it earlier and received many more minuses and 2 pluses, but now honestly I don't care. I suggest you continue doing the good work by offering help and ignore what negative people think. I know I will get tons of minuses for this but honestly, I don't really care. Thanks to the good people of this forum whose advice has been so helpful to all of us. Keep up the good work and lets keep encouraging each other.

Please guide me on
1. I am applying for FBI clearance certificate today, I know there is Gov. shutdown going on + on top of it Holiday season is coming, How long does it take to get the FBI certificate? CIC has given me 60 days time period.

2. I am type 1 diabetic, although diabetes is under very well control, I am little worrying about my medical test. Could you please help me to understand the exact process with DMP, what kind of reports the doctor will perform, being diabetic what are the additional reports the doctor may ask for?

For me, the FBI certificate took less than 1 month after sending in the fingerprints. It was before the government shutdown though.

Immigration medical exams include blood test, urine test, and chest x-rays. Other tests performed by the medical facility were very mundane: blood pressures, height and weight, checking the moles on the skin, etc.
