I don't understand all your post? Are you sending the medicals yourself? Why is he giving them back to you? Were you given 30 or 60 days to complete meds?

Yeah he is supposed to send them but he is not done yet. I had 60 days to do them but I emailed VO with a question about our newborn. I was waiting for their response but they never responded. Is it ok if they get there 1-2 days late?

If it's eMedical you did, you can send the info sheet they gave you on the day of the medicals (or request for it if you were not given. If not, you can scan/e-mail CIC a receipt for the payment of your medicals or some other document showing when you did the medical. Technically, the time limit pertains to having the medicals done - CIC anticipates delays in postage/deliveries. If you don't have any evidence of medicals done, you can still e-mail/fax CIC a letter explaining your situation.

Hope this helps

Did you do eMedicals? if yes-i will advice you send them a copy of the system generated(emedical information sheet for you and family) form the doctor gave you after the medicals, if not eMedicals, scan your receipts and any relevant documents to CIC. This will cover for the 60-days ultimatum while they await the physical result.

Hi JJ-C, when i went for the medicals, the doctors office just asked for the passport and the form immigration sent me. I did not provide them with any of the file numbers. I guess they will submit it for my CEC file, the one I got the medical form for.

I also read somewhere on this website that the same medical results can be used for both the files... so I am just waiting for the doctor to submit the results then, I can email CIC for the FSW to access the medical results. I am hoping I'll be okay.
Hi Kipling, Yes thesame medicals can be used for as many files as you have so far the medicals is'nt expired.I believe in your case, you have to choose which case you will want CIC to take forward from here beacuse both files are at thesame stage. All i feel you've got to do is send CIC the eMedical information sheet and pay the right of permanent residence fee for FSW Or CEC (whichever file you want to uphold). I will also advice that you do not cancel the other until you have received a final verdict
I wish you all the best!

Hi guys,
This frustrating process is not gonna come to an end! Today I sent them updated documents they requested for. Does anybody have any idea about how long does it take to hear back from them for PPR?

Hi Bahar:

Our timelines seem similar. I also got med request and visa payment in July and in Sept got request for all those docs... sent them last week. I don't think it will be that long for us to hear about PPR... I think definitely before end of year... probably in Nov or Dec. That's my feeling anyway, but CIC has proven me wrong every time... I originally submitted my application in Aug of 2010 :'(

Anyway, let us know if you hear anything. They had given me 60 days to send docs, so I'm thinking they will look at my application 60 days after I received their email.

Good luck to you!
Cam

Dear All,

I have a slight issue. I have got the medical request and the forms now, but my wife's passport was due to expire by the end of the year and hence she recently submitted it for renewal (aaarrrrrrgghhhh!).

Now, for the medicals its mentioned that you need the passport or the national identity card and she does not have it. Is any other identification accepted such as a driver's license by the doctors doing the medical test ?

Thanks

Friends

I have got medical forms for me, my spouse and daughter today. :P

They asked for few other things too. I am coming up with details soon. :D

It is up to your doctor's office. Call the offices in your area and ask them describing the situation. Also update CIC with copy of new passport (new number), they might ask you for new forms with a new passport number.
