Hi honpredictable, kipling122,

I have not got any reply for my email yet. And I have made an appointment with a doctor for upfront emedical examination next sunday.

As far I understand the doctor would give me the necessary forms. I was wondering whether they would have the barcode on it or not.
you need to get medical forms from CIC not the doctor - as it is now, only family class applicants can do upfront medicals.

Got additional document request today, including those I sent before:
updated IMM0008, 5406, etc
police report for 2 countries
bank statement
letter from employer/school enrollment

Hoping for the best :)
You are almost there Com2canada. Can I ask which officer requested for your medicals with RPRF?

Hi com2canada,

Thanks for your concern.

The email that I have got from CIC says:

A review of your file indicates that we are missing (your) medical results for (you and your dependents).

In order for us to serve you better, please provide the following information:

· Name of the physician who administered the medical examination

· Address and phone number of the physician's office

· Date that the medical examination took place

· Date that the physician sent the medical results to a Canadian Medical Office

· Which Canadian Medical Office the results were sent to

It also appears that we do not have proof of payment for the Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) on your file.

Please send us a copy of your RPRF receipt via email so that we may finalize your application.

This is the last comminication I had from CIC. I was wondering what would happen if they sent me the medical request before which was missed somehow and the time limit for medical request expires. I emailed them asking to send the medical request again but they did not answer yet.

I remember few FSW members of this forum did upfront medical. It would be great if I could find any of them now.

Seniors, please advise.

Please, please, please, lets be careful about the language we use here. Though we are understandably frustrated we must not get carried away and use derogatory words. I'm sure CIC workers are equally frustrated with workload and undesirable conditions of service. They also have the right to demand better conditions. If anything at all, we should be upset with those who are refusing to accede to their request. Don't worry your turn will come soon, we're all hoping and praying for the best. Lets rather wish them well and pray for strenght for them so they can process with more speed :) :) :)

hey Samnov.... congrats for ur son..

i had same case like you.. i applied in Jan 2011.... and had a son last year in march 2012...
you can only update with birth certificate and passport... birth certificate is the proof that you really had a child...
i updated everything after two months with birth certificate... & passport..
as my son was Canadian.. so no need to pay for fees..
but in you case yes you will have to pay...

I had my son in Oct 2012 in Canada however i have not informed CIC about it as my lawyer said not to.. Do you think it can create any issues in future.. FYI we have received passport request..

Did you request for GCMS notes?

Yes Jayson, I received My GCMS note on 9th September ... The last activity on my application was a "Paper Transfer" within Ottawa on 29th July. I am going order another at the end of this month.
What about yourself buddy?
