Hi everyone,
I need an advice. Now I become eligible to apply under CEC and Alberta immigration nominee program. What do you think should I submit one more immigration application or wait for our previous application to complete our PR process. More than a month has passed that we did our medical and our Doctor's office submitted our medical through emedical on August 12 and no PPR. BTW medical received line were also added two weeks ago. My Ecas still shows RBVO.

Edmontonion, it appears you are almost there, the next will be PPR, personally I think you should hold on a bit longer and save the application fees. A few more weeks and even probably days and you will be done. It is your personal decision though.

Anyone please help! I updated my address couple of months ago but on the email with PPR they still have the old address..My ecas shows my new address though..Should I just put my new address on the prepaid envelope? envelope? will this not be a problem? thank you very much!!!

Many congrats. I think you should send prepaid envelop with your current address written on it and send an accompanying letter explaining that you have updated your address on such and such date and which is showing up on your Ecas too. This should solve the issue.
Would you mind sharing your visa officer code for document request, medical, RPRF and PPR. Also did they ask for updated police clearance certificate too when you were asked for updated documents.

a letter about the change of address!! My VO for MR & RPRF is SN6164. I got updated documents request Aug.2... got MR & RPRF on Aug.19...and yes they also asked for a recent Police cert from my home country!!

I just got the request for medical tests from Mexico City's VO. Here's what the email says:

Mr. XXX,

In reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada; we inform you that you must provide this office with the following documents:

- Updated schedule A
- Updated Additional family information form
- Medical exams
- Payment of the right to permanent residence fee


I just have one question. I'm not sure how I should submit the right of permanent residence fee. Also, can I submit the updated docs by email? The letter says I should send everything to the embassy but it doesn't specify how... I'd appreciate your advice

how long did it took to get Passport Request after you submitted Medicals and all documents?
because they asked me same thing on July16 and I send them all documents along with documents on Sep 08. but haven't received any thing from them since then. its been more than one month still waiting.

hahaha.. yeah like everybody i am desperate too... its been 32 months since i applied my PR in Jan 2011.....
my friend had medicals from Ottawa on Aug14 and he landed last week....lol

m still struck....
