i mailed it on the 19th (received on the 20th) but i live in ottawa so maybe that is why it is going so quickly. i did not do anything to rush them. i think its been so quick since CPP is in the same city as i am. where are you located?

When did CIC receive your passport? Ours were received on Aug 16, but Canada post still shows no info of or our tracking number. Fingers crossed.

Friends, glad to inform you that the journey started in May 2010 finally ended on a sweet note; I received my passport with the Maple leaf ;D

Mailed passport on Aug 05,13 from NJ, USA via USPS Expresspost, was delivered to CIC on Aug 09,13. Received today on Aug 22,13.
Excellent turn around time by CPP Ottawa, considering they mailed it back via regular mail.

I sent it out on Friday morning, it has received by CPP-O this morning (Aug 26th). We might get the passport back at the same time! Please keep me updated! BTW do you know how long it takes to get passport back these days? I saw some people knew the visa issue date, how can i know this kind of info?

What is PCC? Police certificate? I sent it with my application when I first applied.
Also I paid for RPRF and sent it at the same day I did my medical.

Yes, PCC is a police certificate!! I did not submit my PCC along with my application, so they requested it on last friday!! My ecas does show "medical results have been received". I am anxiously waiting for PPR. what does your ecas say?

Noop......, honestly speaking, I had very bad experiences with my immigration file just for nothing and since that transfer to NW, I am not expecting anything in near future. Its been 52 Months since I logged my file........Now its the least priority.....

Everyone who applies for PR (probably except those who apply for CEC) learns one virtue, that is, PATIENCE. I'm the type who gets impatient if I have to wait too long for something, makes me feel like I'm wasting time. I'm gradually learning how to wait, how to be patient. It is a very difficult process. I pray it is over soon.
