Yes got it from Ottawa. I applied from USA and still my landing is pending
Hi, even i sent my passport from NJ two weeks back. Did you send any return envelope?

hi alwayspositive! how big was the documents you first sent? Was it more than 10 MB?

Initially sent two separate emails, they were above 10MB so did not receive automated response for them, re-sent documents again in three separate emails, they were all below 10MB, received automated responses for all three, but a follow-up email indicated some had not been received. Probably the multiple emails created a situation where some of the emails were missed by CIC

Hi alwayspositive,
Thanks for the quick and informative reply. I don't know why they haven't asked me for updated docs yet. What do you think if I fill and email them the same forms upfront?
Thanks

Personally, I would wait for a request before doing any submissions. I'm sure you will hear from them soon. Best of luck.

Hi,
I sent my passport last week Thursday. There was no option to send returned envelop because different country postal service have their own charges, but still i sent $33 prepaid envelop.
I am in NJ too.

Attention: People who have sent their passports from USA to CPP Ottawa and received back with stamping. Please advice on how long it takes to get passport back.
I mailed my passport on Aug 5th,13. When can i expect to receive it?
Also, does CIC email you when they dispatch passports?

Thanks.

mininblue, I think there is no specific timeline for this. It may range from 3 days to 2 months depending on how busy they are

You probably wont get a request fro updated documents. I have seen people in the forum who got MR and RPRF directly without any document requests. It is all the discretion of the officer reviewing your file.

Yes You are right, I got the MR and RPRF request first then after 18 days they asked for updated forms. I submitted my updated forms a week ago and after that I haven't heard any thing.

Hi,

It's really great to see that the FSW1 applications are moving forward. Among us GM 2013, alwayspositive, tokyo 123 whos timelines are close to my mine have got updated doc request from CIC.

The interesting part I have observed about them is that above three are doing jobs/studying in Canada. Is there any other FSW1 applicant who lives outside of Canada and got doc request recently? ::)

Okay! if you don't mind, lets be in touch and track the progress of our cases. When are you planning to do landing; by air or road?

Hi meninblue

In your time line I found the following.

App. Filed.......: May 26,2012
IELTS Request: Submitted with initial docs
File Transfer...: Apr 18,2012

Is your application filed date alright? Did you apply in 2012?

Hi usaca,
