Hurray!!!!!!
Today I received medical request and RPRF request from Ottawa after long wait of 28 months. My time lines are on left and I am a fsw 1 category without job offer.
Tomorrow I will book an appointment with DMP.
I am very thank full to Allah (S.W.T) for his mercy in the month of Ramadan.
I wish every one to get madical request soon.
Just to let you know that my Ecas is still showing "application received by visa office".

hey guys! What does FSW1 & FSW2 mean? I know it stands for Federal skilled worker, but what does the number stands for? I'm a FSW applicant but don't know if it's 1 or 2. I just noticed most of the applicants from 2011 receiving MR & RPRF are under FSW1... Thanks!

FSW1 stands for applicants without job offer while FSW2 is assigned to those who have a job offer, like yourself, so you are basically a FSW2 applicant.

Go to PROFILE which is located in top right of your screen
Click FORUM PROFILE INFORMATION on left
Fill the required information.

The member promotion depends upon your post. They will automatically upgrade them depending upon your activity (thread, posts, etc.).

Yes there is a minimal number of posts that you need before you're able to modify your profile.

It seems some good news are coming from Ottawa in the last weeks...each time I see FSW file getting an MR & RPRF request, I get excited because my file is drawing closer as well.

Let's pray that the positive development we are seeing with the file continues until all backlogs are eventually cleared.

Hi All,

I've been following up this forum from long time. Today I got PPR through email and its mentioned to submit in ottawa office.
So anyone of you know how long it takes to get PP back as I have my travel plans(international) in 1st week of SEPT. And I can not postpone it

Please share how long it takes or is there a way that I can go to other visa off and get it stamped.

Hi Canada_pr1,
Congrats!
I hope you get your pass much sooner than your international flight. I don't know how long it will take to have your passport back but if you get it before you leave and you have only one day to your flight, you go for landing. I highly recommend it because if something happens to you or your family in your international travel, it would be better to be a PR and benefit from its advantage than to be a foreign. Just to be on the safe side.

I have a question, could you please tell me what kind of additional documents you were asked to submit, if possible?
