Send the MR soon, hopefully you should not have to wait as long as 10 months.

I remember you from the post June 2010 board.We are in the same boat. Read my post, page before. Our timelines are identical. I also applied 14/09/2010 and just received my medical request and payment request for visa. No change in Ecas.

I don't know how much of the process has taken place for us. For one thing, I can see from people's timelines that from the completion date of our medicals there is about another 10 months wait... and I don't know if we only need to pass security check or our files have not even been looked at yet and the agents will be going over the entire application again... asking for documents, maybe interview and so forth.

I would appreciate if anyone here could shed light as to what we should expect.

Today I received medical request and RPRF request from Ottawa after long wait of 28 months. My time lines are on left and I am a fsw 1 category without job offer.
Tomorrow I will book an appointment with DMP.
I am very thank full to Allah (S.W.T) for his mercy in the month of Ramadan.
I wish every one to get madical request soon.
Just to let you know that my Ecas is still showing "application received by visa office".

Good to hear from you. Yes, I was on the post June thread, with over 1000 posts... I gave up on my visa after waiting for 2 years, and now (3 years later) when my MR came and I decided to come back to canadavisa, my ID was deleted. So I had to register again.

Who knows why these guys take 8 months to process some, and 4 to 5 years for other candidates... it makes no sense. I hope your case moves forward quickly.
