Buffalo to Ottawa Transferred Cases(FSW) - Pls join here

I did medical since May 2012. No line add on ecase. No news. Last email from Ottawa says background check is underway. I donot know how long we should wait. I saw many people from April, May and June 2010 get PPR. I am not sure how the process order.
Hope of good new soon for all Pre-June applicants. This category is treated in unfair manner from mainly of wrong Minister's instruction. What ever his reason is, his instruction is wrong.

Hi, buddy, we have the same situation. I haven't got emails about background check even if I submitted medical and fees last summer. I think we should apply for GAIPS.

I remember you from the post June 2010 board.We are in the same boat. Read my post, page before. Our timelines are identical. I also applied 14/09/2010 and just received my medical request and payment request for visa. No change in Ecas.

I don't know how much of the process has taken place for us. For one thing, I can see from people's timelines that from the completion date of our medicals there is about another 10 months wait... and I don't know if we only need to pass security check or our files have not even been looked at yet and the agents will be going over the entire application again... asking for documents, maybe interview and so forth.

I would appreciate if anyone here could shed light as to what we should expect.

I know what it feels like when you are waiting for that EMAIL to arrive as I am still in that situation.
I had a couple of questions.
Have you heard of any other applicants from Iran with similar timeline as yours to have been notified by CIC?
Were you asked to provide a new police clearance certificate?

Hi everyone, especially Shinbukan and cam1234,
Thanks for your comments.
Congrats to BK11 and cam1234 for getting their MR!
CIC says that they will process us
by the end of 2013, so I tend to be somewhat
optimististic about waiting a maximum of 5 months
for the process to complete. My DMP was emedical enabled
which eliminates unnecessary delays of submitting the results.
I'll post again when I hear from CIC.
BTW, Each time I visit Iran, I get a new police certificate. 3 months
ago, I was there and got one. Since I was also updating my status
to married, I sent them the police certificate along with my marriage
certificate. They never asked me for it. I am not aware of any other
Iranians' application process whose conditions are similar to mine.

I hope everyone who's waiting hears from CIC soon.

Many Congrats on MR... It really depends, but these days they have been acting at decent pace.

Send the MR soon, hopefully you should not have to wait as long as 10 months.

Hello,

After sending the results of Medical Furtherance for my wife. Today, i have got an email from CIC-Ottawa saying that

"This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada
has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on
2010/04/20".

I have already paid money for "RPRF" last year during medical phase for my family.But, i have got medical furtherance in April 2013 which was cleared by DMP last month and send the results to CIC. I am not sure why i am getting this AOR email today instead of passport request. Any one has any idea?
