is anyone has similar timeline as mine and got medical request???
my husband emailed Jason Kenney a month ago, no response.
emailed Ottwa VO, got a automated reply.
called CIC call centre, they have no access to our file cuz it's in Ottawa.
our lawyer is opposed to request for CAIPS/GCMS.

we don't know what to do...it is so frustrating..

Why he is against ordering gcms, plz reply if you know the reason.

Hi guys im just new in this forum.

I just received an email today from Ottawa asking me to send Updated forms. for my Federal skilled application-with arranged employment (NOC 6211) Retail Trade Supervisor

Here is my timeline:
FSW with arranged employment

Application Filed: December 7, 2011
PER(AOR): February 14, 2012
email updated forms: June 27, 2013

I will send everything tomorrow thru email as per requested. I was not expecting to hear from them regarding this application since I am expecting news from my other application under CEC (canadian experience class).

I have some few questions:

1. From your experience, atleast how much proof of funds should we have in our bank account? we are only 2 people (husband and wife) no kids yet?

2. What is the expected time to get MR and PPR afterwards?

3. Do I need to get police certificates from our Calgary police and Home country without them asking for it? just in case they will ask in the future? (since we send PCC and NBI clearance together in 2011)

Under the Access to Information and Privacy Act - Every Individual has the right to know what's happening with their file hence you MUST apply GCMS Notes .

You as an individual can apply for it directly without the consent of your lawyer coz you are the principal applicant .

Pl browse these thread / forum - you have all details on how to apply for GCMS

If your lawyer is cooking up a story - then I smell something fishy -

YOU must apply for GCMS

BTW do u have a file # that was isssued by CIO-SYDNEY ??

I don't know anybody from 2012 Ottawa FSW applicants who got any decent info. Unfortunately

Lawyer said : It isn’t wise to request GCMS/CAIPS notes for applications in process. We typically request only for rejections.
And there won’t be any important notes on file.

I am FSW1-MI2. Don't know when i will get some communication from Ottawa. I see few people who applied after me are getting medical request and updated document request.

Looks like they are concentrating on FSW1 (MI-1) and FSW2 (MI-2) only.

Is your file still with ottawa?? I hear some of the MI-2 files were moved to mexico & port of spain.

Although our files are at stand-still, I am not totally disappointed by their work..in last few months..I have seen lot of activity for others.
