Could anyone who got medical request recently confirm that I only need to go to DMP without forms? I haven't got the actual email from CIC just informed by my lawyer's assistance. Thanks so much!

My lawyer jus informed me that I got medical request, but still waiting for the medical forms. Does any one know how long it take to get the forms? I thought it would be int the same email, but apparently not.

In my case the form did arrive in the same email and when I was booking the appointment the doctor's office specifically asked me to bring it with me as it has something called an "IME number" which they apparently use for the eMedical service. But I'm sure you'll be just fine even if you don't have the form - some people get their medicals done before they even get the request and also it does not have to be sent through eMedical.

What does one need to bring to the doctor when they go in for the MR? Is it possible for me to make an appointment without having received my medical request email yet, or will the doctor ask to see that email?

couple of weeks ago I got email for medical and RPRF request and in that email they said they will email medical form within 24 hrs., i got medical form for all my family within 24 hrs. after that email.
So yes sometimes they mention this like when they will send the medical forms, you should contact them if you have not received your medical forms.

most of them have same query, pl note forms are not being emailed anymore

mr rqst email is sufficient - initiate mr with dmp

dmp has all forms

if one of the family member hasn't got his or her mr - nothing to panic - get mr done for all in family and dmp to forward to cic

Ecas still shows "in process" and "We received your application for permanent residence on January 9, 2012."
is anyone has similar timeline as mine and got medical request???
my husband emailed Jason Kenney a month ago, no response.
emailed Ottwa VO, got a automated reply.
called CIC call centre, they have no access to our file cuz it's in Ottawa.
our lawyer is opposed to request for CAIPS/GCMS.

we don't know what to do...it is so frustrating..

My timeline is quite close to you.. applied on june 14 and I am FSW2 applicant... I have two dependents on my application.

No, I have dependents as well.

BTW: I did receive the forms in another email and RPR fee payment request.
