I see the debates regarding Arranged employment for guys who don't want to work for their employer anymore.
So, for people with WP the rule says that WP has to be valid When you apply and When visa is issued. Luckily all of you guys got Bridging project, so basically you can do whatever you want so far as employer is willing to give you full-time AFTER you get your PR. I know a person who went to school and stopped working for his employer. That's fine.
Look at situation now. You get you LMO and you can do whatever you want: apply for FSW and come to work right away or sit home and drink Martini. The key thing is you LMO/WP be valid when you get your actual visa... and get along with your employer

Hi Hamid - Once you returned all your docs did CIC respond to you or was their next contact the medical request? I returned everything they asked for yesterday but have only received the auto-reply.
Hi
The next email was they received all documents,

Dear Hamid

This is in response to your email (see below).
We have received your documents

Your application has been sent for review by an officer of CIC at our office. An exact review schedule is not yet available. However, all applications are reviewed in the order in which they were received.

No action is required by you at this time.

Once the file has been reviewed, we will communicate with you to advise of any further action or documents required.

Yours

I recived this email one or two days after submitting documents. Then in 2 weeks they asked for medical

No movement according to my GCMS, I have no idea how CPP-O process the applications. Maybe alexalex is right...by lottery.

I did not receive such an email. For me the next communication was the medical request. So I think there's no need to panic if you don't get an acknowledgement of receipt, just make sure you always get an auto-response, which indicates that your email got delivered.

Hey everyone, I finall landed on Monday June 17th. After receiving my MR my application got finalized in around a month. So keep in mind FSW applicants....as soon as you get your MR now, it'll be finalized quick.

First congratulation. Second your statment in inaccurate at all. Please donor make false statment where is your reference? Many of us had our medical done in April and May 2012 and we are waiting. This is bad luck for us due to some stubidy from CIC and unfair process system. Any way I had done my medical in June 2012 no answer my aplication filed May 13, 2010. I am FSW3, and completed PhD here and my professional is one of the 24 job list by CIC (jobs on demand). Now I am working . What CIC wants more than that. Can you say that CIC has fair processing system!!!

Congratulation again.

However,
Can please someone explain why I need to send them a passport if I already have a Work Visa.
Why do I need another visa?

I can use my existing visa to re-enter.

Thanks

because you need a immigrant visa
your worker visa gets voided the moment you are approved
you have to exit Canada and re enter or you can make an appointment with CIC to land inland

I dont see whats the big deal about sending the Passport

I have also received an email to submit my updated forms. I have filled the form online. If we send online forms do I require to sign on the forms. Please anyone guide.

You are lucky. Personally, I don't believe that will be the case for all. It took me 14 months after MR to PPR.
