I agree with you Edmontonion204. I am planning to apply for CAIPS notes this week. At least we can see if Ottawa started our background check or not. Or any Visa officer assigned to our files or not.
Have you applied for CAIPS notes recently?

Thanks,
Andy
Yes, I already applied GCMS (CAIPS) notes and I think I will get them by the end of June.

Dear Friends,

Hi zw2012_84,
i have timeline close to you. my timeline is on left. i also haven't heard anything from Ottawa yet. Not even about any transfer. So, i guess our files are going to get processed at Ottawa only. Hope they send some kind of communication regarding our files.

Have you heard any news about file transfer from them? Do you have job offer? Mine is without job offer.

Thanks,
Andy

Hi Andy,

I am FSW1 and no transfer.

Hi all,

This morning I received the same email asking me to update my the new forms. My application was received on May 11, 2011.

My question is: the only additional documents they request is employment letter. But when I fill out the forms and I noticed that the forms require some support for settlement fund, spouse's English test result etc. Do I have to provide those support as well? Any advice?

Thanks!

I finally heard from CIC Ottawa today so thought I'd share my info. I received an email requesting updated forms and updated employment letter. No MR or police certificates request yet, but I am happy that something is finally happening. My timeline is as follows:

Category: FSW2
Applied: May 12, 2011
AOR: June 2011
Transfer to Ottawa: July 2012
In Canada since 2007

Thanks for sharing, Fiath. Are you FSW1 or 2?

That is a good news! That show they have started looking at some of the MI-3 files. Let keep our fingers crossed.

Guys,

I just got the request for medical tests from Mexico City's VO. Here's what the email says:

Mr. XXX,

In reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada; we inform you that you must provide this office with the following documents:

- Updated schedule A
- Updated Additional family information form
- Medical exams
- Payment of the right to permanent residence fee

I just have one question. I'm not sure how I should submit the right of permanent residence fee. Also, can I submit the updated docs by email? The letter says I should send everything to the embassy but it doesn't specify how... I'd appreciate your advice :)

You can pretty much send everything by e-mail except for police reports/certificate. Check Mexico VO online if they have specific mode of payment that they accept, otherwise just buy a draft from a bank and address appropriately to the receiver.

Just wondering what is happening to July 2010 to Dec 2010 FSW1 applicants???

I got the same email asking for updated forms and employer letter yesterday from CPPO. I filed in May 2011, FSW 2 with job offer. I will however, be withdrawing my FSW2 application as I have already received PPR for my CEC application and my passport is already in Ottawa for stamping of the permanent resident visa.

So things finally seem to be moving for the files transferred to Ottawa from Buffalo. I am sure everyone waiting will hear something soon. Good luck !

- Updated schedule A --> Send Via email . The email should be a reply to the email they send you.
- Updated Additional family information form -->Send Via email . The email should be a reply to the email they send you.
- Medical exams --> The Examier will send to the Visa office directly.
- Payment of the right to permanent residence fee --> I received this a few months back. You can pay either by ordering a form online from CIC, which you will receive via POST and pay through that. or you can pay online--> print the receipt--> add your file number and name and date of birth. scan it and send it via EMAIL. I choose the second option but my VO was Ottawa.
